fate defines us all (part 2)

This is a story based around a girl called Cassie Mortalis, it is a supernatural drama about a vampire whose parents become mysteriously killed and she is soon to follow in their footsteps. i couldn't publish it so its online, if you know anyone contact me, my email is listed.

you shouldn't read this unless you've read the first one, or it wont make any sense to you. anyway if you cant find the first one, cassie told you about her past and now robert has something really important to say.

Our "When Will I Die" Quiz?

  1. As I stood there thinking about what I had just done I was interrupted. “Cassie...Cassie” called Robert I turned to look at him and noticed something in his eye, he was happy, genuinely cheerful.
  2. He looked me in the eye and spoke softy, “Cassie, I know you are a vampire...” then his voice broke slightly, like he was unsure of whether he should continue or not, but he did. “i know because...”
  3. he hesitated with the last part of his sentence as if he was slowly building up the tension, and then he suddenly coughed it all out “I’m also a vampire. I know what you are because I am one too!”
  4. I stood there for a moment shocked, questions started filling my head. How could he not tell me? Why did he wait till I told him? Is our whole friendship based on lies?”
  5. As I stood there silently, Robert turned away for a second, like he couldn’t stand to look at me this way, he’d never done anything like this to me before and now all of a sudden he’s piling information on me, like I’m some sort of computer
  6. (but to be fair I did this to him first), then he looked back to me and gave me what I thought was a look of apology.
  7. He was about to walk away before I grabbed him, he looked at me, surprised at what I had just done. I should have had a go at him, I should have screamed at him, I should have been angry.
  8. But instead i hugged him, I was overjoyed, he told me what he was, he told me the truth, and he’d told ME, HE’D TOLD ME!
  9. That event made our friendship stronger, we relied on each other more after that like we had some sort of connection.
  10. A while later I told him about my family, he listened so sweetly and even offered to help me find my brother, after we finished our education of course.
  11. We may have been great friends but i still couldn’t tell him everything, at least not then anyway.
  12. Before I could attend this school I needed some money, so I got a job at the local cafe. I worked there for a while earning little money, until I met Samantha, Dylan and Robert.
