  1. What is your age?
  2. What is your gender?
  1. *Tyler' s POV* I think my heart stopped. He had seen her. Oh great. Perfect. "Well?" His eyes are like contained fires. "Stop!" The girl - Emily says. "It dosen't matter how she did it. What's important is that we find Amber." Does she know what Amber is or what she can? "Fine." Riley grumbles. "How can we find her? It's not like we have tracking skills. Only Trey -" Eric stops when Riley turns around. "Trey and Sam are a--holes! If it weren't for them Amber would be here!" Fire tangles around his fingers, making it look like firey gloves. Eric puts up his hands. "Just calm down. Trey and Sam fooled us all. And don't say you new, because you were blind too." Eric himself looks like he's trying not to lash out. Emily steps in between them. "We need to go to the house and find out how to find Amber. So can both of you keep your tempers down?" They both nod. "Wait." I walk up to Emily. "I can help." "How?" She asks, hope in her eyes. "Because I know how to track."
  2. *Amber's POV* Everything is hot and heavy. I feel lost, can't even find myself. Heaviness lays on my body, and just struggling with it is enough. Why can't I move? Then I feel small pricks across my face and down my neck. Soon that's all I feel, and then the sensation is gone. Even the heat and heaviness is gone, leaving me tired and cold. I try sitting up, but only manage to lift my head. I'm in a little cement room. The only thing in it is a wooden chair and a door. I forget how weak I feel and stumble over to the door. I grap the handel like it's my life source. But in a way it is. I try turning it, but it stays still in my hands. No. No, no, no no! I jiggle it, hoping that this time it will work. All it does it make a noise. I let go and slide down the wall. My dress is gone. Instead I'm wearing a baggy grey shirt and sweatpants. They must be for a guy. I want to sleep more than anything. But I settle for putting my head in my hands. Where am I?
  3. I don't know how long I sit against the wall. For all I care it could be hours. I hear something creak and snap my head up. The door opens and in walks...Trey and Sam. My heart jumps. There here to save me! I want to run to them but my legs are like jell-o. "Trey? Sam?" They turn to look at me and the room becomes even colder. There eyes. The color is just, gone. Black. That's what they are. The color's that used to be there are gone. "Good to see you are awake. I told them that they must have over dosed you. But every hour for the last twelve hours they still did it." I think my heart stopped. Was he saying that I was out for TWELVE hours? "Yes, well she is unstable. Master will like that." Sam smiles at me. Not in a kind way, but in a more 'ha-ha' way. "Master?" I whisper. "Yes." Trey looks down at me. "But you know him as Thanatos."
  4. *Emily's POV* I gritt my teeth again. Them yelling at each other is not working for my headache. I turn down the road at almost 100. Getting to Amber is going to be a long time. She's in Yuma, Arizona. And going by plane would be horriable. We brought everything from weapons to medicine. Eric can heal because he can water-bend. But just in case we brought all we had. "If you don't shut the hell up, I will make you regret it." Tyler threatens. Riley snorts. "Yes and I'm very scared of you." I jerk the van to a stop and turn around. "Ok how about this? If you guys don't stop with the freakin' yelling I WILL make you ALL regret it! Got it?" The all mumble 'yes'. I sigh and count to three. "Eric," I almost whisper, "could you please drive? I'm kinda' tired." "Sure." He opens the back door and I open mine. Sitting in the passenger seat I realize just how tired I really am. Playing mom is worse than I thought. I haven't told Lilly or Mark yet. I'm sorta scared at what they might do. I don't know how Amber can argue with them, when they so much power. I sigh and close my eyes. I don't let everybody see how much I really miss her. She's my best-friend. "How much farther?" I yawn. "Give it a few more hours. We should hit Yuma at night time." I peek at the clock. It's seven in the morning. I'd been driving for six hours. "Wake me up when you hut a gas station. And no arguing." I add. "Sure." Eric says and I fall asleep.
  5. *Amber's POV* "Thanatos?" I choke on the word. Sam smiles evilly at me. "Of course. He speaks highly of you. Which makes no sense. You might be powerful but not as much as I think." He cocks his head to the side. "Trey, master would like her in the chair." I back up harder against the wall, trying to get away from them. Trey walks toward me slowly, like I'm a baby animal. "Get away!" I scream. He picks me up like I'm a baby and holds me tight against his chest. I try pushing on his chest, but I might as well be pushing against a brick wall. Am I that weak? Is it from the harpies poison? Or is Trey that strong? He sits me down in the hard wooden chair, and starts tying my wrist to the arms of the chair. "Please," I whisper, tears pricking at my eyes, "don't do this." He looks in my eyes and I see something flare on his eyes. But it's gone as soon as it started. "I'm sorry," He startens back up, "but I serve Thanatos. He is the reason that I'm alive. That we're both alive." He justers to Sam, who looks away. "Goodbye Amber." Sam says and they both leave the room, closingthe door behind themselves.
  6. When the door shuts, I bow my head and let the tears fall. They betrayed me. It's not the first time, but it always hurts. Here I am, waiting for either someone to save me or death. I think the second one is more likely to happen, but that dosen't mean I want it to. Why? I've asked this question so many times. Why me? Pity party's are rare with me, but some are well needed. Like now. There are so many people in the world, but somehow I got the short end of the stick. My parents weren't even benders. They knew about them and even worked for them but they didn't have any powers. So why them and me? I hear the door creak open and I snap my head up. Thanatos is standing in the door way, smiling right at me.
  7. *Riley POV* "Would you like an extra room key?" The perky girl asks. I give her my best smile. It feels wrong, and probley looks it to. "No we will be find. And no wake up calls either." She nods, her red hair bobbing with her head. "Here are your keys and thank you for staying at Milestone Motel." I don't say anything, just walk away over to Emily and the others. Emily didn't get much sleep, maybe a hour. We had woak her up with our yelling. She has never been pissed as when she woak up. "Here." I handed her the keys. She didn't say anything, just took them. Instead she just handed each of us the keys and went to the elevator. "Come on." She motions to the elevator. We walk up to her. "Emily-" "Stop," She cuts off Eric off, "I don't want to talk about it. Just go into your rooms. We'll leave tonight. You have," She looks at her watch, "four hours." And with that she goes into the elevator.
  8. My room is large, bigger than I thought it would be. The walls are a deep red, with gold trim running down the sides. The bed has to be a king size, and it matches the walls. There's a window that streches from the ceiling to the ground. I pull b ack the drapes, and the view is spectacular. The sky is sparkling, all the stars out. There's fields of what ever there growing, blowing in the wind. Everything is glowing a soft light. So beautiful. My head pounds, beating against my skull. Sleep sounds nice right now. But if I sleep, I might dream. And if I dream, then it will be about Amber. I put my hand on the cold glass. "Please Amber," I say to no one, "please be ok."
  9. *Amber's POV* Thanatos walks into the room. He could easily be the hottess guy alive - if it weren't for his cold and flat eyes. "Miss me?" He smiles even bigger. If his voice is bitter sweet. Something that sounds good, but fills the room with slime. "Not as much as you would like." I answer. My voice sounds steady, when inside I'm hyperventilating. Not him! Can he just kill me already? That's why I'm here, so he can hurt me. Knowing him, he'll make sure its painfull, worse than I can ever I inmagine. "Oh, no 'hi'? You should not treat me like that, guest don't do that." My temper flared. What was with him and my temper? The littlest thing made me go of when I was around him. "Sorry," I said as sarcastically as I could, "I'm not usually mean to people that KILL my family and friends. So pardon me." He walks closer to me. "How could I ruin your life? Was your soul forced threw someone else's? Did you wish you would just die because the pain was so unbearable?" His eyes bulged. "Yes. If you remember, YOU were the one that nearly killed me. And after that I was in a coma for two weeks, with so much pain that I wanted to die. Then for a month I was depressed and sick as hell. So please complain more when its clear that I suffred more than you did." The room tempatrue dropped even lower. "Really? At least your soul didn't jump out of your body." He was nose to nose with me. "Rot until your dead." I say. He reaches behind him and his hand comes back, full swing. I feel the heat of his hand across my face. The pain is blinding. The taste of blood is in my mouth, salty and rusty. "Like to talk some more?" He smiles evily at me. I spit blood out of my mouth. "Your very lady-like, arn't you?" "Never have been the type." I hint. "Is that the way to talk? I brought you a present." Death. That's what he has brought. Before I can say anything, he presses his lips to mine.
  10. His lips are cold. I can't pull away, can't move. Something stirs inside me. It slithers down my throat, running threw my blood, and seeps into my soul. The light is bright there, but there's something wrapped around it. Black and slimy, strong and powerful. Something that matches it joins it, only this slimy string is grey and red. Thanatos pulls away, breathing heavily. I'm bent over, huffing. "What-What did you to me?" Oh God, I'm tired. "I'm sure you remember two years ago. When I," He clears his throat, "um, died, my soul travled threw yours. When that happend some of my powers stuck to your soul. So, as your present I gave you the very thing that you were supposed to get." "What?" I whisper. "Pain. I meant to give you my pain. But instead you got some of my powers. Like, when in battle you are faster, scary even." My eyelids fall. "Ah, you seem tired. Well I can fix that. I hear the door creak open. "Master." A deep voice says. "Is it the harpies poison?" "Yes, sir." "Leave now." Then retreating footsteps echo in the room. "This should do it." I feel a prick in my neck, and everything and myself are lost in the beautiful darkness.
  11. *Eric's POV* I wait in the tree. Being so high up, I'm surprised that the air is so clean. Something catches my attention. Riley moves closer to me. "The sun is coming up. We've been here for a few hours." He mouths. I nod. "We're going now." He mouths again. "Got it." I whisper. I look at the place that holds the girl that has stolen my heart. And we drop from the tree, running toward the something.
