Once there was a nation of Centrecold. It held the population of 10 Million when it began it's rapid separation of power. The three major power house provinces where refusing to respect the federal government. Centrecold had recently broken international pacts on resource tax and went into it's own stability collapse. Eventually the big three provinces, now known as Verdentbay, Svendros, and Hell declared independence and began a brutal war in which the population divided and began to violently tear into ideologies that matched the major 3.
