Warrior Cats Love Story Sequel 5

Part Five is here! *cheers* In this part, I apologize for the lack of toms . . . But anyways, the recap is below. Not much happens in here--okay, so there are three important events. But still!

*Recap* You learned the two prophecies and went for a walk to clear it all, having a brief spat with Jaynight as he tries to order you to stay in your nest. You meet Braveflame, the you meet a loner and bring him back to Peatstar.

  1. When you reached camp, you told Peatstar the whole story. He beckoned to Jaynight and the three toms left into the Leader's den, while you went to the medicine cats'. Curltail glared at you on the way back.
  2. Soon, Peatstar called a Clan meeting. "A loner has come by our Clan, found by Honeypaw. Under further interrogation, he has agreed to become one of us." You blinked. Peatstar glanced up at the sky. "I, Peatstar, leader of StreamClan, call upon my warrior ancestors to look down on this cat. He has learned the ways of your noble code, and I commend him to you as a warrior in his turn. Sparrow, do you promise to uphold the warrior code and to protect and defend your Clan as a whole, even at the cost of your life?" Sparrow didn't hesitate. "I do." "Then by the powers of StarClan, I give you your warrior name. Sparrow, from now on you will be known as Sparrowflight. StarClan honors your skill and humor, and we welcome you as a full warrior of StreamClan." Peatstar rested his muzzle on Sparrowflight's head briefly, and then looked at his Clan. The cats cheered, although you noticed more than one was forcing it out.
  3. "And that is not all." Peatstar silenced his Clan. "An apprentice was willing to give her life to protect her Clan, and an enemy Clan from foxes. Honeypaw, step forward." You shivered in excitement and obeyed your leader. Peatstar made the same ceremony, announcing your virtues as intelligence and boldness. Your name was Honeydrop. "Honeydrop. Honeydrop!" This time, everyone was cheering truly--well, almost everyone. Curltail glared at you from the edge of the cats.
  4. You held her gaze challengingly, and then she looked away aruptly. Peachlight took his chance and whispered in Peatstar's ear. Jaynight tried to lean in and hear, and you wanted to claw him.
  5. You looked at the sky; it was dusk. Sunset was coming. Ignoring the pain in your leg and ignoring the glare of Jaynight, you padded out you the stream to watch the sunset. Fish, silver and white and brown and cream colored and gray swam in the pink-and-blue tinted water, reminding you of Sparrowflight's pelt. The sun's few rays suddenly caught a silver fish's scales--a trout-- and gave the image of wings on the fish. Another ray caught a cream colored fish and made it look like a honey color.
  6. A black fish swam near the light and got a blue tint, dappled with white like stars. And a brown fish looked like it glowed in the sun. A voice whispered in your head. *Create a miracle with these marks, Drops of Honey, Glow of Sparks. Create a guardian with these things, Night of Jay and Trout with Wings. These together, make it forever, as they shall put out the Heart of the Snake, these together, make in forever, as they go out, their lives at stake.* You inhaled sharply. The fish were normal now. *I'm hallucinating,* you thought warily and shook your had.
  7. You ran--er, tried to-- and tumbled over. Getting to your paws crossly, you muttered a curse and limped as fast as possible to the medicine cat den, passing your brother, whose warrior name was Troutwing. "Troutwing," you hissed. "Come into the medicine den, and get Jaynight--there's something you should know."
  8. Troutwing gave you a funny look. "Sure." Then . . .
  9. CLIFFHANGER!
