  1. What is your age?
  2. What is your gender?
  1. Let me explain a little better here. The finger of mine that he had tied this red string to was the third finger on my left hand. Gulp. Now he’s scaring me. Okay, not scaring, terrifying would be a better word. “W-what are you talking about?” I stammered.
  2. Jason kissed my hand, and got another something out of his pocket. The world was slowing down, and spinning at the same time. Every move that Jason made felt like it took him a zillion years. It. Was. A. Ring. It was silver, with a black diamond in the middle with two Mahaleo rubies on either side of it. It was soooo pretty.
  3. He slid the ring down the string and it fit perfectly on my finger… “Will you marry me Erica?” he asked, looking me in the eyes. I couldn’t breathe. I didn’t know what to think, or do, or say. Did I mention think? I’m pretty sure that I had been holding my breath while all this was swirling around in my head.
  4. “Erica, breathe,” Jason told me. I blew the air out of my mouth. My first instinct was to say no. But I thought about it; my instinct always ended up being the wrong thing and it always came back and bit me in my big ass. And before I knew it, the words slipped out. “Yes.” I said, smiling at him. His eyebrows shot up. “Yeah?” He sounded almost giddy with both relief and excitement.
  5. I nodded. He grabbed me and pulled me on top of him and gave me a huge, smothering hug. I could only laugh, mainly because he wouldn’t let go of me. But, I decided I could deal with it. That night I fell asleep in his arms, gazing at my incredibly beautiful engagement ring…
  6. ***Alec P.O.V.** When he saw Jason give Erica the ring, Alec nearly fell out of the tree. He was so shocked, he couldn’t think straight. His mind was racing, but it was blank at the same time. He knew it was wrong to be spying, but Alec didn’t care. Alec jumped out of the tree and landed with a muted thud on the soft grass. He knew as soon as he watched Jason walk in the house and not come out ten minutes later that something was fixing to go down. He walked home and practically stomped inside the house. Cassandra, his mother, was waiting up for him. Of course, she was in the kitchen, cleaning as she always did when she got nervous.
  7. As he came in through the back door, she put away her tools. “Watching Erica again?” she asked, sitting at the bar stool in front of the island that was in the middle of the room. Alec grunted at her. “You know, she’s going to catch you one of these days. And when she does, you’re either going to jail or the hospital. Maybe both.” “Mom, I don’t feel like talking about this. I just got slapped by her earlier and now she’s going to get married to that brute Gionni,” growled Alec. He wasn’t in the mood for any kind of arguing right now. Cassandra gasped. “Married? But they’re so young.” “Yeah well,” Alec mumbled, dragging himself up the back stairs. “Go to bed mother. You don’t need to worry about me.” Once Alec was in his room, he turned on the screen to his computer. The wallpaper on his desktop was Erica on his back, kissing his cheek while he was looking at the camera with a cheeky grin. Those days were over. Erica was going to marry Jason. There was nothing he could do now. Or was there? Alec began planning his destruction. If he couldn’t have Erica, nobody could…
  8. **Erica P.O.V.** Jason and I decided to keep the engagement on the low down, at least until after graduation. I still wore the ring, but I just told everyone who asked that it was a present from Jason. Needless to say, I spent A LOT more time with Jason. And I started looking at those bridal magazines. I used to think they were retarded, but now, I don’t mind them as much. Aunt Lisa started to notice the change too, which was not at all good. “All right, what’s going on?” she asked, more like demanded, one night. I looked over at her. “What?” This was exactly what I was trying to avoid. “Let’s see. All the magazines, wedding movies, shows...shall I go on?” she said in her annoyed voice. “I don’t know what you’re talking about.” Usually that gets her off my case, but not this time. She was being more than very persistent. “Erica, I caught you watching Bridezilla last week, and Say Yes To The Dress this morning. And those two shows you absolutely without a doubt hate most of the time. What is going on?”
  9. Oh great. I looked over at Jason, who was now acting like he was flipping through the channels on the t.v. What a traitor. “Jason,” I said loudly, getting his attention. He looked over at me. I glanced Lisa’s direction, then back to him. He stared at me for a moment, and then nodded. Jason got off of the couch and sat on the floor where we were. Lisa looked at us with really wide eyes. Ha, if only she knew. Which she was about to. Which was going to be hilarious as hell. “Okay,” I started. I didn’t exactly know how to come out and say it out loud so I raised my left hand and showed her my ring. Whenever I was around Lisa, I would always take it off/ hide it from her. Her eyes grew even wider. “That’s,” she said. “Uh-huh,” I replied, nearly laughing at her expression. “So that means.” “Mhm.” “Are you?” “Am I what? Pregnant? NO!” I shouted.
  10. Jason chose this moment to burst out laughing at my reaction. Lisa sighed in relief. “When?” “Halloween night. When he spent the night.” Aunt Lisa actually laughed. “Wow.” “But you can’t tell anyone.” Jason told her. “Yeah,” I agreed. “We’re waiting until after grad to tell everyone.” Lisa nodded slowly. And that was totally the end of that conversation. After Jason and I went back to the couch and watched TV, I glanced at Lisa. She was eyeing the liquor cabinet. Oh great, I’ve driven her to drinking. This is wonderful news. I couldn’t stand the weird silence that was now occurring. I hopped off the couch and dashed up the stairs and into my room. Once the deadbolt was in place, I cranked my stereo to Greenday. I flopped down on my bed and closed my eyes. I was trying to think things through when I heard a tapping at my window. My guess was that it was Jason trying to get in since the door was locked. With my blanket over my head, I made my way over to the window and opened it. That was a huge mistake.
  11. xDD I promise it will be worth the wait...I may be gone for a few days and not be able to give you guys part 5 so please just bare with me :)
