  1. I guess I never thought that there would ever be a vampire in any ones house other than mine. My mother is a bit off, but she has to be. Being the mayor of Darkness Falls, Washington isn't exactly easy. She needed that goodluck charm. The one thing that would keep her going through the tough spots. In this case it was Leroy. A slender, spiky long blonde haired twenty year old vampire with beautiful purple eyes. In many places a vampire can do millions of things for humans and it was like having a maid, but cheaper... And more dangerous... And more illegal. It all started when I was five. Earlier that day I had been watching my favorite movie The Neverending Story and singing the beautiful song from the movie through out the house, but the day had soon passed and it left me in an overexited mess on my bed. Somehow my little kid ears had picked up a beautiful sound that came from the hall... I followed, hoping to stumble opon a magical world, but instead found my little self slowly turning the knob on the basement door
  2. The stairs had always been so dark and scary to me before this, but somehow this was different. A soft orangeish red glow crawled its way up the brick stone wall and I found myself drawn down the stairsin a whirl, and staring across the dim room at a beautiful dark angel. I remember thinking he was an angel anyway, for his pale skin and dark clothing. Even his hair was pale. "My beautiful Lena. My dark haired angel, come here." he had said in his deep melodic voice. I had glanced down at the ground and clutched my teddy to my chest as I stepped over the duct tape line on the floor that later I found out happened to be the line that separated the safe zone from the unsafe zone. His pale arms reached out and had curved around my waist and pulled me into his lap gently. "What are you?" I had asked softly as I traced the scars his silver restraints had made on his wrists. "Just another never ending story, Lena. Just another never ending story."
  3. Years passed and I grew slowly learning more and more about Leroy's old life, first as a poor beggar then growing into the lead vampire assassin that he used to be before he was captured and sold to my mother for servitude. I guess you cant really tell what will happen next to you in life. Whether or not you will one day completely fall from your perch and have to start anew. After all this was how the real world is. Its not like your teachers even put a hammer to it, other than the brief encounters in history books. Leroy told me that sometimes he felt the somebody could kill him today, but they would only be killing a shadow. At the age of sixteen my mother had starved him for a week when her job was going downhill and Leroy said he couldn't see me for my safety, and i thought back to what my mother had said. If he was really just a monster why hadn't he ripped out my throat by now? That's the first time I ever gave him my blood... The simple gesture tied us together for years to come and I hadn't known, and I think that if I had know would I really have taken it back? Would I really have said no?
  4. No. The honest to god truth is no. Anyway I would have given him my blood, and I will never regret it. Not for even a small moment in my brief life. I will be a small part in his caged life... And I cant help but wonder if this was the correct choice. If the path I chose would set me off forever or not. Whatever I chose cannot be changed now, and I don't feel like changing it anyway.
  5. "You realize that you are leaving me here right?" Leroy said softly, deadly soft. I scuff my feet against the dark cement. "No, Im not. You arent listening to me. I said WE are going away from here." I repeat. "We are going to get out of Darkness and going away. My passed aunt used to own a charm shop. You know spells and magic? We could restart there. Plus I own you now. No more restraints. Just me and a small shop in Lyndon." He stares up at me, incredulous, "You bought me?" I bit my lip and looked away "No." His shackles clanked together as he got to his feet, and placed his feet to either side of mine, and looked down into my eyes "You would risk kidnapping me and hiding me away in some small town in this cold state?" he said in that deathly soft tone. "Of course! You've been locked up forever! I'm OFFERING you a new life! It's not like I can leave you here. We have a bond. If I leave you you'll kill to get to me!" I scoff. His hand traces my jaw softly, then steps away from me and turns to the wall. My shoulders slump in disappointment and I turn to leave, but on my third step a ground quaking crash echoed behind me, and I was scooped up into pale iron bars.
  6. Three years later in Lyndon Washington the small charm business of The Night House. The bring of the annoying little bell echos through the sunlight tight shop Leroy's eyes widened where he sat on the counter and was destroying the tea leaves in the mixing bowl. "My god Leroy. One would think you would contact me after twenty-seven years!" a familiar voice bellowed from doorway. I had to hide my sly grin from Leroy and turned to face the tall well muscled man in the doorway. Samuel the Alpha wolf. I had traced the name of Leroy's old best friend on Facebook and contacted him. The stocky brown haired man threw his arms around Leroy's shocked figure, and after a moment Leroy threw his arms around the wolfs shoulders in what I knew was a crushing force. "Samay my friend! Just why are you here man?" "Your very own Lena here contacted me! Quite a nice gal." he said as he threw me a wolfish gaze. Yup, they definitely knew eachother.
  7. Leroy's purple eyes slid to me, and sparked with surprise. "You contacted a 237 year old Alpha wolf for me?" he said in a soft chuckle. I nodded in happiness, Leroy finally has his best friend now instead of nagging me all the time about how all vampires lived in lonesome and all that... The men let go of each other as Leroy slid off the counter so that Sam could admire him, and he could admire Sam. "Nothing has changed I see, Leroy. You are still as skinny as a baby tree, but you have at least some muscle on those bones" Leroy's smile twisted into a sardonic smirk and he punched Sam's arm, "Still downing steroids I see Samuel." I choked back a laugh as Sam's face grew hot. "That was once man. Not cool." I chuckled, and grabbed the forgotten tea leaves off the counter and scraped the contents into a bag marked Martha Duel, the customer. "So what DID you come here with Sam? You said you have some news for Leroy and I, didn't you?" I called over my shoulder to him. He stayed silent.
  8. I turned slowly, having felt a slight tension electrifying the air behind me. "What?" I said slowly, eyeing the large were in the doorway. He sighed, his shaggy brown hair moving slightly. "We might need to be in more privacy for this. Not everyone reacts to us with hugs and smiles you know..." He gently closed the door behind him, and I led Leroy and Sam to the back where I closed and locked the back rooms door. The room was normally used for physic readings and potions, but the walls were sound proof and no one could brake into the spell locked door. We sat at the small round table, me taking the chair opposite Sam and Leroy as they sat down in silence. After a moment I inhaled, just wanting the news out. "What is it already?" Leroy said instead, surprising me. Sams hand rose to his eyes, and a wash of dread lifted over me. "We need to use a physic and an experienced investigator..." His eyes met Leroy's, "Leroy... Your fathers dead."
  9. Well anyway I will try to get the next part of this out later in Spring Break... Maybe a day or three if you want to follow this Saga. If your confused it will all be explained later. KK
  10. You can rate if you want, but please comment. You can add more charectors, and tell me where I need to improve, and I'll take it into mind. Thanks!
