The Treehouse (One-Shot)

Hey guys! It's DaughterOfPoseidon here! Here's a short story about Brianna, James, and Alyssa. Things weren't the same with their friend Toby gone. And things definetly weren't the same when strange things start happening at their treehouse.

Will they ever find their way back home? Or will their teenage lives end now? Comment and rate! Lyrics: You take a deep breath, as you walk through the doors. It's the morning of your very first day. You say hi to your friends you ain't seen in a while. Try and stay out of everybody's way.

  1. I took another step, and a small tree branch crunched beneath my foot. James and I walked through the woods taking the path we always took. "Alyssa is meeting us over there right?" I asked. "Well, that's what she said." We kept walking. "You know, I've been thinking.. Things haven't been the same." I blurted out. I've been keeping this thought ever since Toby moved. I just couldn't keep the secret anymore. "What do mean, Brianna?" James asked. He knew about this. So, why is he playing dumb? "James, you know about this.." I said. He looked at me with his hazel eyes. "Brianna, i don't know what you're talking about.." He cracked a smile.
  2. "Oh, wow.." I rolled my eyes. James laughed. "Okay, okay. Yeah, I do know. But how are things different?" He asked. I looked ahead and saw our treehouse. But, I turned back to James. "Actually, the question is; How can things ever be the same?" I asked. James just laughed. "Hey, I'm up here!" We looked up at the treehouse, where we saw Alyssa waving her arms around.
  3. I decided to sprint towards her. James followed. I climbed up the branches until I got to the top. Again, James followed.
  4. "Hey, how long were you up here?" James asked Alyssa. "Just a few minutes." She answered. I picked up the radio from the floor and turned the dials, finding our usual signal. Just static electricity. "Strange" Alyssa looked over. "What is?" "The radio. Where's our signal? It's usually here." I said. "Maybe there's something blocking it." She replied. I nodded. I looked over at James. He was looking out the window. "What's wrong?" I asked as I walked over to him. He pointed to the swing. It was just swaying as the leaves blew around. "So?" He looked at me. "It isn't windy though." He said.
  5. "Well maybe it is but it wasn't before." I told him. James nodded and went to eat a bag of chips. I stared at the leaves. I know there isn't any wind. But why were they moving?
  6. THE END OF THIS SHORT-STORY!
  7. If you guys, want me to carry on and make this a whole story, please comment if you do! I decided to make this short story because I was having some writer's block on for 'My Journey As A Demigod'.
  8. And that will be uploaded soon, it's just that I'm also busy with school and all. Plus, for me it's hard trying to connect with Rick Riordan's characters (Leo, Katie, etc..) which are in the story. You know, trying to see their point of view and stuff(:
  9. ANYWAYS. Comment and rate! Remember, to comment if you want me to continue and make this into a whole story. Thanks! :)
  10. Peace!
