The Curse Forgotten (part 2)

I don't suffer from insanity, I enjoy every moment of it. :D. So very sorry that this is really late. I explained it in the results. Thanks for reading. ~Meg.

Jingle bells don't moo, they quack!! I highly suggest reading the first part again, so you remember what happened. Although, I highly doubt that anyone remembers this. :P.

  1. I was greeted with the intense boom of the music playing as I stepped inside Jordyn's house. A bunch of people were dancing and when I walked inside, they all shouted "The performer has arrived!!" There were at least 200 people at the party, which I was surprised because I didn't think Jordyn knew that many people.  I walked to her kitchen while giving multiple people high-fives and fist-bumps. I saw empty chip bowls and the drinks were almost gone.  "Megan! Thank God you're here!" I heard Jordyn call my name from behind me. I turned around and saw her standing in a peach colored strapless dress and white high-heels. Her brown hair was pin straight, as normal.  "Why? What do you need me to do?" I asked.  "You need to help me get rid of these people before one. If my parents come home and find out that I had a party, they'll kill me." Jordyn said. Her parents were both traveling salespeople.  "Uh, fine. What do you want me to do?" I asked, a little bit annoyed at the fact that I wouldn't be able to party tonight.  "Go get the microphone and tell everyone to leave." She ordered me and I walked up to the stage that she had and grabbed the microphone.  I tapped it a couple times to make sure it was on and then I turned down the music. A lot of people booed me and yelled at me to turn on the music.
  2. "Oh, suck it up. I ain't turning on the music. You all need to leave now. So, goodbye. Don't let the door hit you on your way out." I said.  "Sing!" Some guy in the middle of the large crowd yelled and then they all started chanting "Sing".  "If I sing, will you leave?" I asked, striking a bargain.  "Yes." The crowd replied.  "Fine." I said and then walked over to the DJ set and searched for a song. I scrolled through the songs until I found one that I knew called "Paris (Ooh La La)" by Grace Potter and the Nocturnals.  The music started playing and I brought the mic up to my mouth.  "You got me down on the floor. So what'd you bring me down here for?" I sang and the crowed whistled, "You got me down on the floor. So what's you bring me down here for? If I was a man I'd make my move. If I was a blade I'd shave you smooth. If I was a judge I'd break the law. And if I was from Paris, if I was from Paris I would say 'Ooh la la lala la la la'."I continued to dance and sing and the crowd continued to dance and holler and whistle at me.  When I was done, they all applauded.  "Now, get out." I said and then they all walked towards the door.
  3. "Thank you so much, Meg." Jordyn said as I walked up to her.  "Yep. No problem, Jo." I told her and then looked around her living room.  It was a complete mess. Empty cups littered the ground, pictures and paintings were crooked, the couch cushions were either across the room or upside down, a broken vase was on the ground, and two lamps were knocked over.  I sighed. "I'll help you clean up before one." I told her.  "Thank you, thank you, thank you!" She rapidly said and then gave me a hug. "You start here, and I'll start in the kitchen." Jordyn said and I nodded my head. (haha, that rhymed).            * * * * * * * *  By 12:30, we finished cleaning up the house. A knock came from the door and Jordyn went to answer it. Dean came into the living room and looked disappointed that there was no party.
  4. "What happened to the party?" He asked. Dean had hazel eyes and dark brown short hair. He's very fit and about 5'9".  "What are you talking about? I'm right here." I said sarcastically before Jordyn could respond.  "I had to have everyone leave before one." Jordyn explained.  "Why?" Dean asked.  "Because my parents come home by then, and you guys should really be leaving too." Jordyn said and then started shoving us out of the door.  "Alright. Nice to see you too." Dean yelled as soon as she slammed the door in his face. "Do you need a ride home?" He asked me.  "Thanks, but no. I'd rather walk." I told him and he pretended to look hurt by putting his hands over his heart and taking a couple of steps back, like he's been shot.  I playfully punch him on his arm and we said bye.
  5. My heels made a clicking noise as I walked on the sidewalk. There was a full moon out, so there was enough light for me to see. After ten minutes of hearing the clicking noise, I got annoyed and took my heels off.  As I passed an alley, someone came out and grabbed my arms.  "Get off!" I yelled but the person continued to hold my arms.  "Is it really you?" The person asked and the voice belonged to a women's.  "What do you mean?" I asked and she pulled me under a street light to get a better look at me.  "They've been searching everywhere for you." She said, her blue eyes looking in mine.  "Who's 'they'?" I asked.  "They almost gave up hope." She said as if in a trance.  "What are you talking about?" I demanded.  "They'll be so happy to know where you are and that you're safe." She said.  "Look, lady, I have no idea what you're talking about. I've never been anywhere but L.A. And I certainly don't know who 'they' are." I told her and confusion swept over her face.  "Do you mean that you don't remember?" She asked.  "What are you talking about?" I asked again.  "Here. Maybe this will help." She said and then let go of me and pulled out a cell phone. I put my right hand on my hip and stuck that hip out as she dialed a number and put it on speaker.  After a couple rings, someone answered.
  6. "Mom, this better be important. You know it's dangerous for anyone like me to use a phone." A very tired voice on the other line said. The phone made his voice staticy.  "Yes, yes it is. It's very important. I found her." The women said.  A pause from the other end came.  "You found Megan? Where is she?" The person asked.  "She's with me right now, in L.A." The women replied.  "Can you tell her that I'm sorry? I didn't mean to hurt her and make her runaway." The person said and I started to feel a little weird.  "Look, I don't know who you are or what you want with me or how you know my name. But what I do know is that I'm going home." I said and then sprinted off into the dark before anything could happen.  I ran into my house and up my stairs to my room. I took a shower and put on running shorts and a cami. I jumped on my bed and immediately fell asleep. But, it didn't last long because my phone started ringing.
  7. I picked it up and drowsily said, "Hello?" without looking at who it was.  "Where are you?" It was Chris's voice.  "At home. Where else would I be in the middle of the night?" I asked sarcastically.  "Middle of the night? What are you talking about? It's eleven in the morning." Chris said.  "No it's not. You're lying. I swear, I just fell asleep a minute ago." I said.  "Megan, look at your clock, and tell me what time it is." Chris said and I sighed as I rolled over and faced my clock. It read 11:04am.  "Oh...." I said.  "Yeah. Now get down here. We were suppose to have a surfing contest." Chris said, sounding a little irritated.  "Oh, yeah, that's right. I was gonna crush you today." I said as I sat up in bed.  "Crush me? Let me tell you who-." Chris started.  "Bye, Chris." I interrupted him and ended the call.  I jumped out of bed and my red bikini that had a black flower painted on it and my black skirt towel thing. I then grabbed my white surfboard that had red around the edge and waxed it. I put on my red flip-flops and red off the shoulder top.  I ran downstairs and grabbed a piece of toast on my way out.
  8.           * * * * * * * *  Once I got to the beach, I kicked off my flip-flops, and took off my off the shoulder top.  "Hey, Megan!" I heard someone to the right of me yell. I turned and saw Chris and some other guy walking my way. Chris was half African-American and he had a six pack. He was wearing blue swim trunks.  The other guy had light brown hair, deep blue eyes, and he had a six pack too. He looked really familiar, but I just couldn't put my finger on it.  "Hey, Chris. Who's this?" I nodded to the other guy.  "This is Dylan. Me and him use to be buddies until he left." Chris explained.  "Where'd you go to?" I asked Dylan.  "New York." Even his voice sounded familiar.  "Ready to get crushed?" Chris asked.  "Ha, only in your dreams." I told him. Just then, a scream came from the edge of the water.   I snapped my head in that direction and saw a woman screaming and pointing at the water. At first, I didn't know what the problem was, and then, I saw it.
  9. There was a shark fin poking out of the water and it was heading straight towards a boy. A crowd of people stood at the edge of the and just watched, which I thought was rather stupid of them.  Without hesitation, I grabbed my surf board, and ran towards the water. I knocked a couple of people down to get in the water. I started paddling as fast as I could to get to the child.  When I reached him, he looked terrified and confused.  "It's okay." I reassured him as I pulled him onto my board.  "¿Donde esta mi mama?" He asked. It's a good thing I knew a little bit of Spanish.  "Ella esta en la orilla." I replied and started paddling back to shore. I still had on my skirt/towel and I didn't even have the velcro from my surf board attached to my ankle.  On my way to the shore, I felt something sharp stab me along the right side of my lower back. It went away and I felt a little light headed.
  10. When we reached the shore, people crowed around us, and I saw that the shark bit the boy. He was bleeding, but not a lot. I yanked off my towel skirt and ripped it in half. I felt like I was about to pass out, but I didn't know why. I ignored the feeling and focused on what I was doing.  I wrapped a part of the skirt around the boy's calf, to stop the bleeding. I felt the ocean water splash against my legs and I saw someone calling 911. Once I finished stopping the bleeding, I was vaguely aware of Chris and Dylan running towards me. My vision began blacking out around the edges and I found myself struggling to stay awake and keep my eyes open.  I then found myself falling backwards, into the water, and into the darkness.
  11. Cliffhanger!! Yeah, yeah. I know that this is an extremely late. I highly doubt that anyone still reads this, but if you are, then I explained everything in the results. Thanks for reading. ~Meg.
