  1. "Oh. Hey Ezra," I blushed as she peered over my shoulder at Patch, raising her eyebrow. "Never mind," She shook her head. "Bad news," She looked serious and my stomach twisted in a knot. Every time something good happened, something bad had to come along to ruin it. "What?" I replied slowly. Not sure if I wanted to know. She stared at Patch for a moment and the back at me, "Cydonia's here."
  2. There was nothing but silence and tension, filling the room. My skin was burning from anger, and my heart beat increased its pace. Ezra look uncomfortable, and took a steep back from the door. I turned to look at Patch, who was staring at me already and like usual, wasn't giving away anything or showing any reaction. My eyes flushed and changed to their gold, and it felt like they were set on fire, but it had no effect on me.
  3. Since no one was going to make a move, I did. I was tired of her. Tired of all the crap she put me through. I wasn't going to let her just show up here and play games with all of us. I literally jumped down all the stairs, landing with a thud. I felt the adrenaline kicking in and I got closer to the door, which was slightly open. "Woah there," Alex jumped out from behind me and stood in front of me with his arms out trying to calm me down as if I were a wild horse.
  4. "Alex," I warned but he didn't budge. "I know you don't like her-" "No, Alex. I don't like cats. I don't like cold weather..- I hate her." I corrected him. What was she even doing here? I saw Patch move around me and to the door. I heard him mumble something to Alex and he nodded as Patch walked out the door and closed it behind me quickly. I was getting angrier that Patch had gone out there. I took a step to the left, but Alex just mirrored me. "Sorry angel," He gave me an apologetic smile, but I just returned it with a deadly glare.
  5. "Did Patch go out there?" I heard Ezra behind me. I turned and faced her, I had an idea. "I need your help," I whispered so only she could see. "With what?" She raised any eyebrow with suspicion. "I need to go out there, but Alex isn't letting me through." I explained through gritted teeth. Ezra nodded and gave me a sly grin, "I've got this." She walked around me and up to Alex. "Hey Ez- OOHf" She hit him in the groin. I bit my lip to hold back my laughter, and Ezra joked by bowing. All the humor was gone once I remembered that Cyndonia was nearly just outside the door.
  6. I heard the rest of the guys coming up from downstairs, so I ran out to the door. I looked around and noticed that they were gone. "Are you kidding me?" I groaned in frustration. This wasn't helping the fact that I was angry. Where did Patch go with that evil, crazy killer? I sat down on the doorstep, squeezing my eyes shut and doing my best to contain my unshed tears. My head shot up as I heard faint voices and foot steps slapping against the pavement in the distance. I heard Patch's voice, he must have been near, so I quickly jumped into the bushes that surrounded the large home.
  7. I heard the footsteps grow closer, and I began to make out the words. "You need to leave Cydonia." Patch growled and the footsteps came to a halt. I heard Cyndonia giggle," I love it when your mad." I could feel my ears heating and I'm sure they were shooting out steam like a train. So she does still like him, this wasn't going to work out. "Stop," He hissed. At least I knew that Patch didn't feel the same way, which made me smile a little. But I was still steaming and wanted to claw her. I just needed to stay in the bushes a little bit longer, maybe I could find out new information. Something that would fit all the pieced together so that I could understand all of this chaos.
  8. I held my breath and listened in on their conversation. "Don't you miss me patch?" I cringed at the sound of her voice. "No. Not one bit." He answered back in a cold voice. I was relieved that Patch almost hated her as much as I did. Why was she so persistent though? "C'mon Patch," I heard a step followed by another. "remember all the fun we use to have?" I heard her giggle and it made me want to choke her. What did she even mean by fun. What did they do? Was Patch ever happy with her? My stomach became uneasy as the dreadful thought of Patch smiling with that witch filled my head. I immediately threw it out, and continued listening.
  9. I moved a branch away from my face and I was able to barely peek out. I saw Patch standing about a foot in front of her. He looked angry, agitated, and.. confused? Which was knew to me. Patch had never been the one to be lost or confused. Maybe I was imagining it though. "Why are you here Cyndonia." He said her name as if it were a vile word no one was allowed to ever say. She rolled her eyes, "You patch." She took a slow step towards him, but he didn't move this time. I'm sure it was to keep his ground. "I'm serious." "So am I.." She whispered and bit her lip. I didn't like where this was going.
  10. Patch didn't reply, he just stood there silently. Staring at Cyndonia with his cold black eyes. It was quiet for a moment, they stood there staring at each other. I was about the jump out but Cyndonia was the first to break the silence. "Remember out first kiss?" She took another step towards Patch. My heart was racing, and my blood was boiling. I was so angry that I didn't even notice the blood on my hand from gripping a rock so tightly. "or do I have to remind you?" She whispered and took a final step, leaving nothing but a thin airway between them. I was raging. He wasn't even moving. He was just standing there like and idiot. I wasn't just going to stand by and let him do nothing. I went from sitting on my knees, to crouching, but I was to late. They were kissing. Right infront of me.
