your name is pheobe longo and it is your senior year at atlantic academy and everything is just getting more and more complicated... and you just cant seem to catch a break.

  1. You answer the door and it's Jane, your best friend. she is here to tell you about what happened at the party after you left. Apparently after chris had gone back downstairs he and kelli got into an argument and she had stormed out of the party without him. She also tells you that Zane had been looking for you all night and is worried about you and thinks he may have done something wrong. After jane leaves you go to talk to your sister Alexis. "You did what?!" she asks you. "Well I kissed chris," you say. Just then your phone starts to buzz...
  2. The first person that you talk to at school tomorrow is zane. "Hey, where did you run off to at the party?" he asks you when he sits down at the seat next to you. "I wasn't feeling well, I just needed to go home," you lie. You just cant tell him that you kissed chris, you still don't know what the kiss meant whether chris just kissed you because he was drunk or was it because he still loves you, you don't even know what to think about it yourself. "Well I was worried about you, I would have happily driven you home." he says believing your lie. "Thanks" you say. You look over at the lab station next to you and chris is there looking at you. The bell rings and as you file out of the classroom chris whispers in your ear "We need to talk at lunch, the usual place" he says. Before you can say anything in return he is gone.
  3. Jarron is in your next class, English. Ironically you are reading the Scarlet Letter. you sit down next to him and he turns to you and says "So... how are you feeling today?" he asks smirking. You give him a shut the he** up look and he just turns back to the front of the room laughing. Half way through the class he turns to you "hey beautiful, can I borrow one of your precious pencils?" he asks, flashing a handsome smile. "Of course, anything for you." you say jokingly. You two always joke around like this, its nothing new. Then you see him looking at you from the corner of your eye, you turn to him and ask him what he is looking at. "You know, you are actually kind of beautiful." he says back to you then nonchalantly looks back at the board.
  4. At lunch you meet chris in the "˜usual' place. The usual place is under a tree just outside of the biology lab. You walk up to the tree and see him sitting there. "Sit down," he says. "I prefer to stand," you say. You stand because that way it is easier to run if he starts to say something you don't want to hear. But what do you want to hear? "Please just sit," he says looking sad. You sit down against your better judgment. "So about that kiss," you say, just jumping right into the conversation. "Yeah," he sighs, "about that. I guess I just had to much to drink and I have been missing you. I didn't realize how much I missed you until I saw you again. Its easier to ignore the ache when I don't have to see you every day." he says. You cant believe it, "so its easier to lie to yourself when im not around? You just can't stand me going out with someone else! Do you want me to be eternally unhappy? Are you the only one that's aloud to be happy?" you practically yell at him. "Phe that's not what I mean and you know it." he says, but its too late you are already up. You turn around "I don't want to hear it Chris." you say as you walk away.
  5. By the time you make it back into the school building you are crying. And because you are just so lucky (sarcasm) you run into Zane. "What's wrong?" he asks. "Nothing," you say because you just can't tell him about Chris. "Pheobe I know we don't know each other very well, but you can tell me anything, I care about you." he says in his adorable british accent. So you tell him about chris and how you too used to date, you skip over the kiss and just tell him that it is difficult seeing him with Kelli. "I'm sorry to complicate things more but I am hopeing that this will take your mind off Chris," he says then he takes your face in his hands and kisses you.
  6. The bell rings interrupting your kiss. You are speachless so you just turn around and start heading towards your final class of the day. Your final class is uneventful, thank god. Once you get home you start your seemingly never ending stack of homework. About an hour and a half into your stack of homework you hear the doorbell, it's jarron. "hey jare," you say smiling. "come with me," he says flashing you one of his mischievous smiles. "jare I don't really have time-" you start to say but before you can finish he has your hand and is pulling you out the door. He walks you over to the passenger side of his Mercedes kompressor and opens the door for you, and as he is closing the door he says "watch your head.". "Where are you taking me?" you ask. "you worry too much," he says, not answering my question. Then he starts to drive away from my daunting stack of homework and my worries.
  7. Jarron takes you to the back of some building and opens the back door. The room is dark and then he turns on the lights and you realize you are in the old skate rink. The skate rink was the first place you met jarron back in 4th grade. As the cheesy disco music plays and the disco ball sends off rainbow fragments you ask "but how did you get us in here?" . "Its one of the buildings my parents own, it's where we first met, best friends ever since." he responds. "I remember, we spent a ton of time here." you say laughing. When you turn to look at him he is holding a pair of old fashioned skates out to you. You take the skates.
  8. When you get home that night you realize that you forgot your phone at home. When you check it to see if you have any messages, you find that you have three. The is from chris and it says "You know I didn't mean it like that Phe will you please just give me a chance to think about everything, I'm just very confused. " beep... next message is from zane " hey I just wanted to check on you, I'm sorry for earlier I just really wanted to kiss you, I've wanted to kiss you since we met, I guess I'll see you at school tomorrow. Goodnight Phoebe." the third is a text from jarron and it reads " I hope you had fun tonight, I figured you needed a night away from the ever constant Chris drama. He doesn't treat you like you deserve, you know that right? Anyways I'm always there for you I hope you know that...".
  9. you are late to school again. when you open your locker you see a bouquet of purple tulips, your favorite, and as you pull them out of your locker a note drops to the floor. you look at the note and notice its from...
