  1. NO! I struggled against the knife but he just pulled my hair more. It hurt. The kitchen door swung open and.... my parents walked in.
  2. "Welcome to our home!" My fake mother said. "now please put down the gun and come in." My real Dad tightened his grip on the gun. "Or she gets hurt." The hand holding my hair pulled back. It hurt! I tried not to scream put that was my fake dad's intention. I screamed. It hurt sooo bad! My real Dad put the gun on the floor. NOOOOOOOOOO!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  3. My fake Dad let go of my hair and put the knife away. I felt all of my hope that I had been living on fade away. Unless......
  4. My fake parents invited my real parents to Dinner Leaving Me, Lucy, Ann, Austin, and Jared in the kitchen. The second they were out of the room I went to the freezer and grabbed 4 ice cubs. While Ann and Lucy got the drinks I made a dagger with the ice.
  5. I put the finished dagger on the tray of drinks and picked up the tray. I looked at Ann and she nodded. Lucy squeezed my shoulders. Austin went outside with Jared. It was time. I walked into the dinningroom and set the tray on the table.
  6. I handed my real mother her drink first then my real, Dad, fakr mother, and then my fake father. I watched as they drank. 5,4,3,2,1, NOW! The power went out and plundged the ice dagger into my fake Fathers shoulder. He screamed bloody murder. "RUN!" I yelled and everyone ran at the same time to get out. I grabed my parents hands and pulled them out of the room. As soon as everyone but our fake parents were out of the dinning-room Ann made a trap with her vines.
  7. We all ran out the door they didn't make any noise as we ran past. Austin joined us, and we ran. We were going to be free! I never let go of my parents hands. A big van was waiting for us at the end of the lane. Lucy went in first.
  8. Katie went in next. Soon half of us were waiting when the dogs started barking. We turned and saw our fake parents coming. I grabbed Sally and threw her in. My parents went in next. My Dad got into the front seat my Mom in shotgun. Tyler jumped in.
  9. I was about to climb in when someone grabbed my hair. NO! "Go!" I yelled. "Go!" I saw my dad face when he looked at me. It was filled with despair and anguish and love. The last thing I saw before someone hit me on the back of my head was them driving away.
