Here's a recap for ya: Jace had something planned for you. He ran into Heidi, she had a vial with dark blue liquid. Jace asked what it was, Heidi said...

  1. "I made this potion special. It will actually make ____ temporarily forget about the guys as well as Allissa, me, and the other agents that she might have caught a glimpse of." Heidi said. "She'll remember you though, as the guy she likes. It will change her thinking. She will live in the moment and never think about the past." My jaw dropped. "You're kidding, right?" I said. "I'm dead serious. This potion can really do that." Heidi said. "Well I don't know, I don't wanna permanetly alter _____'s mind." I said. "What part of temporary don't you understand, Slate? This potion will mess with ____'s memory long enough for you to achieve your goal." Heidi said. I almost told her to keep the potion, but then I realized that I've been trying to get rid of humans for years... this may just be my ticket to a world without humans. I had to do it. And since when do I have a conscience? I'm SLATE. It's scary that ____ could almost change my thinking in a matter of hours, no one else has even come close to that. "Give me the potion, I'll do it." I said. Heidi smiled and handed me the vial.
  2. ***Your P.O.V.*** You're halfway through your thrid magazine when you hear a knock on the door. "Come in." you say. Jace opens the door and enters. His eyes widen and he looks you up and down. "Wow, _____. You look so beautiful!" he says. You feel your cheeks burn up. "Thanks..." you say with a small smile. "____, I have something to show you. Follow me." Jace says. "What is it?" you ask. "You'll see." Jace says. You put the magazine down and walk twords Jace. He holds his hand out for you and you take it. He leads you down this huge spiral staircase, through a few complicated hallways and finally out a large door. Theres a large grassy area and a romantic picnic set up beneath two big, shady trees. The sunset in the background only made it look more romantic. Your heart melts a bit. "Is that for us?" you ask. "It is." Jace says smiling. "Aw, you're so sweet, Jace! You really didn't have to." you say. "I wanted to though." Jace says. You smile and hug him.
  3. ***Jace's P.O.V.*** When ____ wasn't looking, I poured the potion in her drink. I felt excited and just a teeny bit guilty, but there was no going back now. I just had to wait for ____ to finish her drink and the potion will begin working.
  4. ***Your P.O.V.*** You are enjoying your date with Jace so far, but you still are having thoughts about Chris, Bryan, Ethan, Nick, Anthony, Allissa, and Heidi. All of that changes completely when you finish your drink. Your mind is 100% focused on Jace. You don't remember where you met him or that you've had feelings for any other guy. All you know is that you're on a romantic date in a romantic place with a romantic guy. Jace turns to you. "____," he says. "Yeah?" you reply. "Do you know Chris, Bryan, Ethan, Nick, Anthony, or Allissa?" Jace asks. You try to remember who he's talking about, but none of those names sound familiar at all to you. "No. I've never met them. Who are they?" you ask. "Just random names I came up with." Jace says. "What about Heidi, Jade, and Drew? Do you know who they are?" Jace asks. Once again, the names don't ring a bell. "No. Are they more random names you came up with?" you ask. "Uh, yeah." Jace says. That's a little weird, but you don't question Jace any further, it suddenly seems unimportant to you. You forget about it completely within minutes.
  5. You're more focused on Jace for the rest of the date. You and Jace talk and laugh for hours. You can't help but feel really lucky to be with such an amazing guy, one who's hot, funny, and sweet. You are leaning on Jace's shoulder and he's holding your hand. You stay out until night comes. Jace looks at you, the moonlight reflecting off his dark eyes. "____, will you go somewhere with me?" he asks. "Where?" you ask. "To the mountains to go camping." Jace says. You smile. "Ooh! That sounds like fun, I'd love to go!" you say. "We should probably start packing though." "Don't worry about that, I already have it taken care of." Jace says. You laugh. "You always think of everything, don't you?" you say and kiss Jace on the cheek.
  6. ***Jace's P.O.V.*** I texted Heidi that I'm leaving with ____. She replied saying 'okay'. I bet the guys won't find us there. ____ and I aren't going to live in the mountains forever, but it will work for now. It's hard to believe that ____ doesn't even remember the guys anymore, but the potion seems to be working. I had a lot of fun on our date, so I guess she's as good as mine. I was psyched about that idea, and there was something I just liked about driving at night with ____ by my side. Life was good.
  7. ***Allissa's P.O.V.*** Our new plan was to go to Slate's castle and demand to know where ____ is. If he (or whoever we're talking to) refuses to tell us, then we'll fight them off and do as much damage as possible to the castle. We mostly discussed battle strategies for the remainder of last night. We slept all day, gathering as much energy as we could. Now that it was night, we were all powered up and ready for anything, especially Chris, Bryan, Ethan, and Nick. They were freaking out over ____ and looked like they were ready to kick some serious butt. At the moment, I felt like Anthony was the only mentally stable person other than me. Sure I was really worried about ____, but not as much as the guys were. ____ is one lucky girl. I suspect that all four guys like her. I'd be jealous, but Anthony is all I really need. Actually, I don't know if ____ is lucky right now. God only knows what Slate is doing to her. Now that thought scared me. I was in the backseat of Ethan's car next to Anthony. Bryan was sitting in the passenger seat and Ethan was driving. Chris and Nick were ahead of us in Chris' car. I stared out the window deep in thought and rapidly tapped my fingers on the seat. For some reason, my hands always had to be moving, especially when I'm nervous. I felt a warm hand on top of mine. I looked over to Anthony. "It'll be okay, Allissa." he whispered. He had a small reassuring smile that barely made his dimples visible and his dark chocolate brown eyes melted my heart once again. He gave my hand a reassuring squeeze and kept his hand on top of mine. He knows that makes me feel more relaxed but I was still anxious to go save ____. I can't imagine how the guys feel!
  8. ***TIME FORWARD***(still Allissa's P.O.V.) Here we are, at that nightmarish yet sorta pretty castle. We weren't exactly there yet, but it was off in the distance. We were ready to get _____ back. We soon approached the front entrance. Then Chris, who was slightly ahead of everybody, looked like he ran into a wall... but nothing was there. "Ow!" he said, "What was that?" We all went to where he was standing. I put my hands in front of me. It felt like I was touching glass. "Seems like it's some sort of force field." I said. "Well that's just great. What are we gonna do now?" Anthony asked. "We sure as hell aren't gonna give up, that's what we're gonna do!" Bryan said. We all changed into our magical forms. Bryan tried flying into the force field at full speed. Needless to say, he ended up bouncing gracefully off the force feild and into the dirt. Stupid Bryan. "Bryan, did you really think that would work? IT'S A FREAKING FORCE FIELD!!!" Chris snapped. Bryan got up and brushed the dirt off his jeans. "Whatever. Well at least I'm trying." Then Ethan spoke up. "Don't worry, guys. I got this. I learned how to pass through force fields at age 14. It's pretty easy, but I can only take one of you at a time with me." he said. Nick volenteered to go first. Ethan grabbed his hand and made it so he was just barely visible. He then quickly pulled Nick to the other side of the forcefield. "Huh, it's that easy?" Nick said. Ethan stuck his hand out of the force field. Chris grabbed his hand and Ethan pulled him through. When everybody was on the other side, we walked over to the massive doors in the front of the castle. Two big gaurds were standing there looking a little astonished to see us. "How did you get through the force field?!" one of the gaurds demanded. "None of your business." Ethan shot back. The gaurds glared at him, but he didn't look scared in the least. "What are you doing here anyway?" the other gaurd asked. "We're here to talk to Slate." I said. "Slate's not here right now." the gaurd said. "Well where is he then?" I asked. "and where is ____?!" Bryan demanded. "We'll never tell you." the gaurd said. "Now leave." the other gaurd added.
  9. "We aren't leaving until we get ____ back." Chris stated firmly. "Awww. Is she your girlfreind?" One of the gaurds asked mockingly. I accidentally read the thougts of Bryan, Ethan, and Nick. They all said, "No, she's MINE!" I could tell Chris was pissed off, but he was biting his lip and holding it in. "Well, not anymore, Chris. She loves Slate now. She's gonna help him destroy the humans." the other gaurd said. Chris was still holding in his anger. "I'll believe that when I see it." he said. The first gaurd continued taunting him. "Owtch, man. It must hurt to lose your girl to your half brother." he said and smirked. "TOO FAR." Chris yelled. "LET US IN HERE OR I'LL F---ING KILL YOU!" He pulled out his sword only to have it smash against the gaurds' sword. "Temper much?" he asked smugly. Chris' eyes, which were normally pale icy blue in his vampire form, were getting darker and darker until they turned into an erie, souless black. He glared at the gaurd and within 5 seconds, the gaurd's smug look was wiped right off his face. He fell to the ground, dead. The other gaurd looked terriefied, hardly believeing what he just saw. Chris glared at him next. The gaurd looked away but Chris' stare was too powerful, he also fell to the ground dead. Oh, did I mention that if you piss Chris off enough in his vampire form, he'll take the term "death stare" to a whole new level? Well he can. Why don't I have that power?
  10. "I warned them." Chris said kicking aside their lifeless bodies and opened the door. "Dude, get your freaky eyes back to normal." Ethan said. Chris' eyes turned pale icy blue again. "Now where do you suppose ____ is?" Bryan asked. "Probably not in the dungeon, that'd be too obvious." Nick said. All of a sudden a place popped into my head. "I bet she's in Slate's office." I said. "Let's go." Anthony said. We ran all the way up to Slate's office. Nick kicked open the door... our eyes widened when we saw...
