Life of a Freak Part 3

You have made it this far, but how much farther will you come? Sammy will do anything to make sure she makes it alive with her new friends. Good luck!

With her new friend and Mason gone you need to save Mason and try to make sure your new friend makes it out scratch free. You will need all the help you need.

  1. Dex lunged at you and you moved to the side to watch him fall. He hissed as he stood up. "You can't save both of you." "Watch me." He hissed as he jumped at you and right when you were going to move another raptor grabbed your right side. "Let go." You fought. "Ughhh" Mason groaned. "Mason! If you can hear me just know..." "That you love him?" Hissed out one raptor and they started to laugh. "...I will make sure we get out of this alive!" Mason moaned again. Hopefully he heard you. Dex got real close to your face and said "Just so you know he's not going back to the labs." You noticed that Dex looked more human. His patches were gone and his tounge wasn't forked. And his eyes... His eyes were a goregous green. "Ohh, you noticed the new serum that makes us human. Ya, we stay like this until were really pissed off." Dex smiled and whispered in your ear "I've always had a special taste for you." He grabbed you face and kissed you on the lips and backed away. "Lets go!" Dex commanded. Mason moaned a final time and then you were knocked onto the ground. "Don't trust what you see." Mason's voice went through your head. Dex looked at you and blew a kiss. Then it went black.
  2. You woke up and you body hurt all over. "Ugghhh..." You moaned out. You sat up a little putting your hand on your head. Something didn't feel right the last thing you remember was Mason on the floor. Mason! You look around you to see foot prints and no Mason. In fact no one was around you at all. "Mason?! Dex?! Raptors?!" You were confused and nothing could process normally. The fact you were alone finally went through your head and you started to feel like crying. 'No I can't be alone! Mason is looking for food! Dex wouldn't leave me.' You thought. Even though you despised Dex you'd rather be with him then alone. You got up and the world started to spin. You got dizzy and fell to the ground again. "Whyyy!!" You cried out feeling lost. You felt like someone or something was watching you. Based on instincts you jumped up still dizzy and started running. You thought you were dodging the trees flawlessly, of course you were still dizzy so you ran into the fattest tree of it's kind. "Ouch that looked like it hurt." This voice said from the direction opposite of the labs. "No dur that hurt!" You snapped not in the mood for a game. "Name is Cameron. You can call me Cam." You looked at Cam and saw a girl who looked maybe 7 and she was just a normal girl. She had brown hair and cutsie playful light blue eyes. Her summer dress flowed around her. "You look tired. Wanna see my home?" She looked excited to see someone, maybe she didn't see the ears or tail. "Sure, where is it?" You said just happy to see anyone. "Come follow me!" She jumped as you got up from the cold unforgiving ground. "There!" She pointed at a hole in the ground literally! "Ummm..." She looked up at you then looked down. "I know not a normal place to live, but I just escaped from the crazy people before they got me inside the building!" You looked her over and she didn't look like someone who has been living in the dirt. "Why do you look like you just came from home?" "Because I just escaped last night! There was some big thing about someone else escaping." She realized what she said then looked at you with huge eyes. She brushed your tail with her hand and said "You were the one who escaped!" You nodded and she smiled like God just came to rid this place of the Devil himself. "So can we leave now! I wanted to leave last night and well just now but I saw you get jumped by those ugly lizard things!" You smiled and thought it would be nice to leave then you thought Mason. "Sure but can we find my friend first?" She nodded and grabbed your hand and you started walking to where you hope Mason will be.
  3. "I'm hungry!" You've been walking for God knows how long and you felt hungry too but didn't want to stop until you needed to. "Ok we'll stop and find some berries or something." She smiled and said "I know which ones arn't posioness!" She ran off into the trees and you reached for her but she was already looking for food. You sighed and waited for her return. Minutes went by and right when you were about to go looking for her she came out with her little hands full of berries. As you sat and ate your berries Cam kept asking questions like "How long have you been at the labs?" Ten years. "What are you?" Half fox. "Would I be like you?" I don't know. "How old are you?" 14. "Do you miss your family?" That's when you froze. Of course you missed them but you didn't really know if they'd except you. You didn't even know if they want you back. Maybe they throw a party everytime your birthday passed saying 'Wooo! No kids to tie us down!' You tought about them not caring anymore and you felt your eyes started to swell up in tears. "You ok?" Cam asked worried. "I'm fine" You lied "Just didn't expect you to ask that." "Oh... I'll never ask again." A moment of awkward silence streached out. "What's your name?" You smiled at the last thing that showed of your parents love for you. "Sammy, my name is Sammy." You went on looking around to find Mason but it seemed hopeless. "So who are we looking for?" "Someone like me." She looked at your tail and ears and nodded and started darting her little eyes in every direction. "Would he be in another building?" You thought of what Dex said 'Just so you know he's not going back to the labs.' But that could mean anything. "I don't know."
  4. You and Cam stopped at a small lake for a drink. And the cold fresh water was soothing down your throat. You swallowed slowly enjoying every last drop. "Sammy!" You turned to Cam. "Can we sit and relax for little bit?" You recalled to the last time you relaxed was when you two ate. "We sat down when we ate." "But that was forever ago!" She whinned. You rolled your eyes and said "Fine we can..." A snap of a twig was all it took to make you freeze. Cam saw the worry on your face and she looked scared. "What..." "Shh!" You cut her off so the raptors don't hear you if they havn't seen you already. "I'm going to check it out. Stay here and if there's trouble run." She looked frightened and like she wished she was back at her hole but she nodded anyway. You turned toward the noise and started pushing your way through the low branches and the bushes. There wasn't any other sound until you heard a rustle of leaves. You peared at the direction of the sound to see a bush. You slightly opened it to see a possible raptor and a squirrel jumped at you. "Ahhh!" You screamed. You looked at your "threat" and kicked the ground. "Stupid squirrel." You turned about to walk back when you heard Cam scream "SAMMYYY." The "y" was drawn out so you knew something was wrong. You started sprinting through the woods. Which always seem thicker when you need to be somewhere.
  5. You finally broke through the woods to see Cam with a knife to her neck. "Let her go you lizard freak!" Cam was tearing up but she wasn't weaping. "Tell me that over hear." He took the blade away from Cam's neck to wave it towards you. You took a step foward and he put the blade back to her neck. Then you started to growl. Cam looked suprised to hear you growl. You suddenly transformed to a fox and pounced at the raptor. He screamed as he was about to slice Cam open. You bit into his leg and tugged at his pants until he fell realeasing Cam. You climbed onto his stomach and growled in his face. He grabbed your neck and you morphed back into a human. Well sort of a human. You choked and started to feel the life slip from your lungs. You thought it was over and then the raptor boy screamed out in pain. When he let go, you held your neck and saw Cam holding a bloody knife. She looked terrified and like she wanted to disapear. The raptor held his leg and blood seeped through his hands. You took this opprutinity and jumped on him. You grabbed his face and he started to struggle then you kneed him in the gut. You felt the breath leave his lungs. Your teeth morphed but you stayed somewhat human as you bit into his neck tearing out his throat. He coughed and screamed and silence. You heard Cam crying and saw the raptor motionless on the floor. He was dead.
  6. You ran to Cam to comfort her. At first she started to stop crying but the she opened her eyes to see your blood covered PJ's. "AHH! The blood is on you!" She started balling away from you. You walked into the lake and scrubbed at the blood. Most of it came out but there was a faint hint of red where it used to be. Wet and clean you went and picked up Cam. She started to calm down. She looked like she was worn out. I couldn't blame her. She has walked off more then she has eaten in the last 24 hours and just saw someone die in front of her very own eyes. You held her close as you made a bed of leaves to lay the innocent litle girl down. Finally she layed there in another world. Dreaming hopefully not any nightmares. You leaned against a tree and started to drift.
  7. It was dark and you couldn't see a thing. "Hello?" You said wondering what's going on. Lights all around you flashed to life. You were suroundered by cages. One of them was covered by a sheet. You pulled the sheet and Mason was dead inside the cage! It was pointless to look for him now. "Well someone doesn't listen to her dreams does she?" You turned and saw someone who looked like a crazed scientist. "Remember what Mason said?" You didn't know what he meant but you were scared. The scientist shrugged. "Guess not." He turned and pushed a blue button. The you were in a cage and trying to break free. "Have fun in the dark." Said the scientist as he left. You screamed to be free but no one came to your rescue.
  8. You woke up kicking and screaming. Cam woke up when you accidentally kicked her. "What! Why! Huh? Sammy! Stop kicking!" You stopped and looked at Cam. "Oh sorry bad dream..." Cam looked at you and saw the fear hidden in your eyes. "Your fine. Can I know what it was about?" You shook your head not wanting to talk about it. Cam looked away and held her knees close to her body. "We need to find Mason. Today!" You didn't want Mason to die because you decided to sleep in. "Don't trust what you see." went through your head. Does that mean he's still alive? Mason's voice was comforting. You missed him. "So let's go now! That lizard creep had to come from somewhere!" You remembered yesterday. You realized he looked normal then he seemed to morph into a raptor. "Don't trust what you see." Now you got it! Don't trust your eyes because they might look human but they might be raptors instead. But Cam was right. A raptor wouldn't be out hear unless there was somewhere to hide or live. "Let's go."
  9. Hours of walking made your feet hurt and you starving. Cam didn't complain so you didn't stop. I think she's not complaining so we get there faster. She was stronger then she's been letting on. You walk a little longer to hear chatting not to far ahead. "Get down!" You whispered and Cam got down quickly. You took a peek over the edge of the grass and saw raptors and scientist talking. You saw a building behind them and thought 'Mason's in there'. "Stay here Cam. If you hear someone coming hide somewhere." She nodded and started scotting to the bushes. You smiled as she listened to you. Time to save Mason. You ran out of your cover and heard sirens and hissing. You might die trying to save him. At least he'll know you tried.
