  1. "Hey!" You turn your head just enough to see his face and it's... Caleb! You look at him in shock and the guy on top of you looks over to him. "What are you gonna do pipsqueak? Tell your daddy on me!" Caleb clenched his fists and his face turns a slight pink. "No." He said as calmly as he could. You knew his dad was the sheriff but you didn't know he would take such offense to it. "Get off of her now." "Why? She's just a girl! The only reason we have them is for our own pleasure." You gasp and sort of cough when he says that. Then out of nowhere all of the weight of an extra body on you is gone. You reach toward your throat and feel a slight imprint. You look over to see Caleb with his foot on the perp. The guy struggles but he can't break free of Caleb's foot. Caleb leans down and says "Don't ever touch Misty again. Do you hear me?" He struggles again as he nods. Caleb pushes down on his foot even more and you hear some cracking. You look away appalled at the sound. Caleb lifts his foot and as the guy gets up he kicks him back down. The guy rides off on his horse and is hunched over in pain. You look at Caleb who is looking down. You take a step and say "Thank you." He looks up and his green eyes melt into yours...
  2. He walks up to you and he gets five centimeters from your body and whispers "Be carefull walking at night. I won't always be there to save you." "You were here now and that's all that matters." He looks deep into your eyes and you can feel that he wasn't a huge fan of that remark. "Just be careful." He started to walk away. "Wait!" he stopped "How'd did you know I was in trouble? Did you fallow me?" He turns and says "I never get back by curfew. So I...I...I wanted to make sure you got home safe alright!" He looked down and kept clenching and unclenching his fists. You walk up to him and pull his face up from the ground so he can look at you. "Well thank you. I don't think I would be hear if you hadn't of came." He looks at you and he wraps his arms around you and pushes his lips onto yours. You were about to fight then your realize how warm and soft his lips are and let your eyes close as you fall into his hypnotic spell...
  3. After he lets you go you both say goodnight and you can't get the warm sensation of his lips off of yours. You reach up to your neck everynow and then to see if that jerk left an indent on your skin. He did. You get back to Ben's house hoping he's asleep and you can put Ashes in the stable and sneak back in the house without explaining the hand print around your neck. Ashes goes in the stable quietly and nudges his head at you in good bye. You tip-toe over to the door and try to open it quietly. The door makes a loud creeeaaakk sound. "Shhhhh!" You whisper at the door. All the dinning room lights turned on. You stop and stand up straight and let the door slam behind you. You flinch at the sound and look innocently at him. He looks at you and you see the worry engraved into his eyes "What took you so long to get home?" He see's your neck and his eyes shoot wide open as he hops off the chair letting it fall from under him and letting it hit the ground with a thump. His hand brushes your neck as you wince at the pain. Ben stops with the worry and hurries into another room. You look through the doorway to see what he's doing but you see nothing. He comes back in with a scarf, he ties it gently around your neck. "There! Go ahead take a look!" He pushes you to a mirror and a light white scarf is where the bruise used to be. Ben smiles and says "Go on to bed. You can tell me in the morning what happened." You play with the tie on the side and walk to your room.
  4. You wake up from a dreamless sleep and look in the closet for the same dress but cleaner. You get dressed and smell the yummyness of Ben's homemade breakfast. You fallow your nose to the dinning room. And there is Ben eating with a plate by him set up for you. He see's you as you sit down and begin to cut at the pancakes. Ben keeps staring at you and is waiting for you to say something. "What?" "Well?" He asked like I knew what he was talking about. "Well what?" "Well what happened last night?" you kind of freeze and look down and begin to poke at your food. "Nothing happened." He looks at you questionably and you put down your fork and begin to spill out everything starting with "Well ok..." After you finished your story, that you lied and said you don't know who saved you and left out that little kiss, he strokes his chin and says "Well thanks for telling me." He gets up and heads for the door. "Where are we going?" "We are going to see the rest of the townsfolk." You get up after shoving a whole pancake in your mouth and fallow him to the stable as you chew...
  5. You see a guy in a navy blue outfit with a star badge that says 'SHERIFF'. You get a little closer as the town gets closer. "Howdy Ben, and Mrs.?" "Misty" "Mrs. Misty. You must be staying with Ben for a while right?" You nod at his question. Then you realize this is Caleb's dad. He looks just like Caleb just older, fatter, and his hair has some grey peaking through. He looks over to the Sheriff's Office "Well I got work. See ya around Misty, Ben." Ben nodded at him as he left. I looked across the street to see Nathan. I jumped off of Ashes and ran toward Nathan. "Misty! Wait up!" I ignore Ben and kept running until I was a foot from Nathan. "Well, well, well if it ain't little Misty." You giggle "Same as last night." "Well I'd hope so! Or you'd have heck of a twin!" You couldn't help but to laugh. "There you are!" Ben finally caught up to you. "Hey Nathan. Where's your dad?" He nods his head inside. "Stocking the shelves." Ben waves you in and you leave Nathan to attend the wheat. "Sal! I want you to meet someone!" Shouted Ben even though the store was so small you could whisper and hear it on the other side. An old guy with a hunched back peeks up over the shelf. "Hey there Ben! Who's this?" "This is Misty she's staying here for a while." "Great more customers!" Sal looked nothing like Nathan, Sal was bald and he teeth all rotted away and his gut was so big that his shirt was threatening to sufficate him. "Well I have to get back to work. But I'll see ya around ya hear?" "See ya." you said tring to make him feel like you were listening. You all walked outside to see Nathan moving the wheat. "Well that's my dad." "Ya he's nice." Natahan smiled and said "I have to work too but I'll see ya around okay?" "Okay see ya around." Ben waved you over again but this time over to Josh and Kristipher's parents...
  6. Kristipher and Josh's parents were sweet hard working farmers. Kristipher looked like his mom and Josh looked like his dad. They loved you, you think. Kristipher was glad to see you and so was Josh. They couldn't stay long but they invited you to dinner. You couldn't wait but lunch hasn't even passed so you decide to go look for Caleb. You try by the old well but instead of Caleb you find a girl. She had light brown hair that's chest length with side bangs. You couldn't see her face yet but she was looking out toward Kristipher and Josh's family farm. You approach her cautiously but she still hears you and turns around. She had green eyes with flecks of gold and orange and a small nose and cute little lips and full cheeks, she was also skinny but had some muscel to her. Not like Nathan but it was there. She wasn't to short or tall just normal. You didn't know wheather to say hi or not so you stood like an idiot. "Hi?" said the girl. You snap out of your dumbfounded trans and say "Hi, I'm Misty. Who are you?" "Ashley" Ben never metioned an Ashley. Maybe she was new like you are. "You like the farm?" I asked remembering how she was looking out onto the feild. "Hmm? Oh! Not really...It wasn't the farm I was looking at." "Then what?" "Nothing." You were suprised how she was so open one second then the next she flees at a question. "You can tell me." "Wellll....Okay! I was looking for the cute little farmboy." She giggled as she mentioned "farmboy" and "cute". You hoped she didn't mean Kristipher or Josh. You can't have them both but you like them both and wouldn't be able to choose just yet. "What's his name?" You dread the answer and for good reason. "Kristipher! He's soooo cute with his goregous blue eyes. He doesn't know me very well but I hope he will soon enough!" She sounded so sure that she will have Kristipher. You decide well it's just Kristipher right?
  7. "I don't know him that well." She smiled like she accomplished something. "Well that's ok wouldn't want two friends fighting over him anyway right?" "Friends?" "Yeah well..." She looked down embarrassed. "I just thought..." You felt bad and she really is nice "Yeah, we're friends." She looked up totally thrilled. "Yay! I mean great!" You laugh just a bit and she smiles. "So you wanna do something?" "Sure but I have to be home before dinner." She was still smiling "That's fine." You couldn't tell her that you were going to Kristipher's house for dinner. You still didn't see Caleb but you got to know Ashley a lot better. You two talked and went horse back riding and she would gush to you about Kristipher. You didn't like the gushing but she needed someone to listen and your there. But dinner time was coming up...
  8. You leave Ashley to walk herself home so she wouldn't see where your going. You walked to Kristipher's house cautiously in case Ashley was watching. You felt bad lieing to her so early in your friendship but it would hurt worse if you told her the truth. As soon as you approach the door you lift your hand ready to knock when Kristipher opens the door. "Hey you made it! Come on in." His house is slightly bigger then Ben's but just as cozy. The smell of some kind of pie filled your nose. Kristipher see's you inhaling deeply. "Mom is known for her famous apple pies. She made one for dessert." "Mmmmm." Not even the cooks back at home had pie that smelled this good. Home... Your heart ached at the thought of your mom and dad freaking out over your diapearance. "Misty?" You snap out of it. "Ya?" "You ok?" "Ya I'm fine." You smile but it wasn't very convincing. You see Josh. "Hi Josh." He smiles at the reconation. "Hey." He says quietly. Kristipher gives you a tour of the house and you listen to each word thinking Ashley would like to hear that, or Ashley would love this. You felt horrible for being there. "Dinner!" Chimed in Kristipher and Josh's mom Natalie. You sat down at a chair next to Cliff their dad and Josh. We all eat some beef steak and some baked potatoe. You all chat about the weather and they ask you some questions like 'How long have you known Ben?' and 'How long are you staying?' stuff like that. Once the ice broke it was very fun. Josh was even contributing to the conversation. After dinner you grab a slice of apple pie and Kristipher asks you to come outside in the barn...
  9. You go out into the barn with Kristipher and you both talk while taing bites of your apple pie everynow and then. "Great pie!" "Yep! Mom is the best!" You try to savor each little bit then you thought you should ask Kristipher about Ashley. "Do you know an Ashley?" Kristipher looks at you with a questionable look. "Yeah, just barealy. Why?" "Oh no reason I just met her today. She's really nice." "Yeah I don't see her that often but I'd say she's pretty cute....I mean nice too." You tried to pretend he didn't say that but he did and it hurt. Your eyes began to well up but you fought back as hard as you could. "You ok?" "I'm fine." You wipe your eyes before he could see your face. "Hey listen she's cute," the words stung even worse because he didnt't cover it, "but she doesn't have anything on you." You didn't know if you heard him right. "Really?" "Really." He leans in really close and his empty plate flips over and you lean in as your eyes close...
  10. His breathe touches your lips and right as you were about to actually kiss the barn doors slam open. You flinch and turn to see a shadow holding a gun. "Your not getting away that easily....!"
  11. (no effect) Another cliffhanger haha sorry!! But there's another contest!! I want all of you to figure out your reasons why Misty couldn't find Caleb after this incident with the guy the first time. Whoever comes up with the best reason will be the reason in the next quiz!! However I won't post who won this time so start commenting!!
