I've started trying to break questions into smaller parts so that this stop happening, but it's really annoying. This time it decided to take away part of #4 and #9.
"It,'s vital that we get her back," your father was telling an officer. He didn't look like he had just lost his daughter, someone he loved. It was more like he was a spoiled child that was demanding to get his favorite toy back. Neither of them were acting or talking like any parent would if they had lost their kid. Nathan broke the connection and put the bowl down on the floor. Then he looked straight into your eyes and said, "_____, those aren't your real parents. They're some of those angel-hunters we told you about, and they'd knock you out and did all the things we said that they do. They never loved you, they just used you." You looked down. "Sometimes I wondered what would happen if I just packed up a couple backpacks and walked out the door. If I just left without saying goodbye, and would just walk across the country doing odd jobs here and there to earn a little money to buy food and things like that. If I would be gone without a trace. Now I know." "Now you know,"Nathan repeated. He looked at you for a moment then picked up the bowl and left you to your thoughts. You had always thought that they had some dark secret. They had seemed kind of fake, as if they had gotten their parenting skills from a book, which they probably did. But you had never realized that they weren't real in a way. You got up and left the room.
sorry, I forgot about #9
You nodded. Of course you remembered it; it wasn't the kind of thing that one forgets very easily. "It's an entrance to hell," Jonathan said.
