I am suppose to be dead

Hello everyone who I do not know! This is a little story quiz I made, no specific results, I just wanted to write a little short story(To let you know my definition of short story is not the actual definition).

Please comment, I apologize for any grammar errors. I do not know if I should continue this, if I should, just say so or else I will just leave this behind and never get back to it. Well enjoy!

  1. I hope you enjoy and comment about it if you would like. Thank you
  2. I woke up under soft warm blankets. My vision was blurry but I could see that I was in a white room. It felt like I was imprisoned, including my voice. I could barely move my arm, much less sit up. Inside me, I knew that I did not belong here. Not inside the room though, I do not belong where ever this room is.
  3. The other strange thing was I did not know who I was. Who am I? Or what was I? Questions like that swarmed my head, making me feel like I would explode inside my own head. "Looks like the thing is awake," said a voice bored. "Well this thing looks like a person so treat it that way," a female voice scolded. Was I a person or an it? Having these thoughts made me seem mellow dramatic and nostalgic. I knew I did not like people like that and it was not my personality. At least I know that much.
  4. A face appeared above me, it was a tired middle aged man with some small spots white hairs with his natural black hair. His eyes were a mixture of green and blue. The man had on a white lab coat with goggles hanging on to his neck. "Hello," he said sarcastically. "Do you understand the language I am speaking?" he asked very slowly. Frustration grew inside me, did this guy think I was an idiot? Yet again I do not remember anything so I guess I am an idiot, for now. "No reaction," he sighed. "Maybe it can understand our language but can not speak it," she explained in the same sarcastic slow tone that the man was using.
  5. A face appeared above me, it was a tired middle aged man with some small spots white hairs with his natural black. His eyes were a dark green blue color. The man had on a white lab coat with goggles hanging on to his neck. "Hello," he said sarcastically. "Do you understand the language I am speaking?" he asked very slowly. Frustrations grew inside me, did this guy think I am an idiot? Yet again I do not remember anything so I guess I am an idiot, for now. "No reaction," he sighed. "Maybe it can understand our language but can not speak it," she explained in the same sarcastic slow tone that the man was using.
  6. "Alright, blink means yes, do you understand me?" he said with a deep sigh. I did not want to blink, I did not like this man and his attitude. I decided that I would not do anything that he told me to do. Frist off he was annoying and secondly, he reminded me of someone. At least that was my gut telling me that I did. "Guess it does not understand," the guy turned around. "Stop calling it an it," the girl said, her voice was fading away with the sound of footsteps. "Yet you call it an it," the man replied.
  7. Time passed, I do not know for how long. After a while I was finally able to sit up slowly. As I tried to get off of the bed something cold prevented me from standing. I looked at my ankles and wrist, there was this silver cold material, it prevented me from getting away from the soft bed. A word came into my mind, "Platinum". That was what I felt it was, but what is platinum? A low sound came from inside me. I then felt empty in my abdomen area and a strange sensation told me to get substance. It was strange, I knew what objects, and colors were yet I did not understand my body or I felt uneasy about what things were. It was like knowing the answer to a test. How do I know what a test is? Maybe I know what some things are and I do not remember the rest. Great, I feel more like a clueless idiot.
  8. I looked across from me and saw a white door. This room made me feel uneasy with all of this white. The door opened and a woman entered. She had a lab coat along with black pants, heels and a white shirt. Her hair was a light chestnut brown that went well with her green eyes and freckled face. "Seems like you are awake," she smiled. Her voice was the female one from before. She looked at her hands and her green eyes grew wide, "I forgot your food! Shoot," she ran out of the room. I wondered how she could do so if she wore high heels as the man from before leaned in the doorway. A small stick was in his mouth and smoke came out of the other end. "Hope you can survive Dr. Dreyer's food. She grows it herself," he said in the same bored tone. "How about you be quiet," she snapped at him as she brought a plate filled with strange looking objects. Yes, the plate was white.
  9. "These are different vegetables that I have brought you. This is a carrot," she handed me an orange cone object. It was hard but weak enough to break. "You probably should have given it baby carrots," the man said as Dr. Dreyer explained to me the different vegetables. "Those are processed. What if it kills it? I mean him, or is it a her?" she looked at me. The man shrugged, "whatever." "Could you also quit smoking? You might affect him, or her you know what I am just calling you they," she said with frustration. "Well it is not killing it right now, is it? And just call it a he. It does look like a male, but very feminine."
  10. Anger grew inside me. I heard that before, people saying that I looked like a girl. Without thinking I threw the carrot at him. He barely dodged it as it crashed into the wall, making a deep hole and shattering the carrot to mushy pieces. The two people stared at me with shock and maybe some fear. The woman backed away, putting down the plate on the floor. "I will let you try these on your own..." she left the room along with the man. They closed the door quickly.
  11. I looked at the plate and my abdomen growled. With no luck, I could not get to the substance. Maybe I should not have thrown the carrot, but that man made upset. How dare he disrespect me, I who is...My train of thoughts were intercepted once I realized that I do not remember who I am, or what I am. I sighed and laid on the bed, staring at the pale ceiling. How did I get in this situation?
