  1. *Recap* You 'fought' your dragon and now the guys know you speak dragon tongue and have an animagus. Luke got bitten by his dragon, he's in the hospital wing where you had a nice scene with Ron and you found a special room from no one knows who except me. You talked to Matt and had quite a funny sight in the dining hall with Ron's dress robes. You had a dance lesson and you kissed George in front of everyone in 4th year. You went back to your secret room and saw a glint in the water... Comprende?
  2. I reached towards it and pulled it out of the water. There in my hand... lay the charm bracelet. It looked like it's effects were dimming from the chipped metal and the tarnished silver. It was mine... the one Fred gave me but how did it get here? I didn't know. I missed Fred and the chats we had. I examined the bracelet with a great curiosity. I ran a scan over it with my wand and I found it could go both ways if I try but I have my privacy. I remembered when the dance lesson was over and Fred and George high fived. I saw the glint on his wrist. So he still wore it... I slid it onto my wrist and with the last little bit of the left over energy it has to peek into Fred's mind I had a little look.
  3. *Fred* I sat in the common room while George and Ron and Harry kept on singing, "The Amazing Bouncing Ferret. Is what Malfoy became. When Mad Eye Moodey, put a curse on him." I think they'd had a bit too much firewhiskey. Seamus had sneaked in some. "What's all the ruckus about then?" Jamie asked as she walked in and sat on my lap. "Firewhiskey." Said Oliver simply as he looked up from his quidditch strategies. Boy that guy liked quidditch. I got a weird feeling in my head suddenly and I rubbed my temple. "Are you ok Freddy?" Jamie asked. "Yea. It was nothing." I said. George cam over and poured himself and me another glass of firewhiskey. Accidentally spilling some over the rim of his cup. "Cheers." He proclaimed as he handed me the cup. "Cheers." I said back and we clinked glasses. He stumbled to his seat and then sat down. Suddenly I heard a voice in my head and the glass of firewhiskey in my hand flew and hit Hermione in the face, who had just come in. "Fred!" She shouted at me. Jamie was instantly out of my lap and had a paper towel in hand to wipe the firewhiskey off Hermione's face. "Fred what did you do!" She shouted at me. "I'm sorry I thought I heard something." Jamie ushered Hermione away to their room and I just sat there in shock. "Hey Fred." I heard nervously in my head.
  4. *You* I saw the whole scene flash before my eyes and I was astonished. It still worked. But now it only worked if we wanted the thoughts to travel through. "_____?" I heard in my head. "Yea." I said quietly back. This conversation was all in our heads but it was real. "How are you?" I asked him. "Well I just spilled my firewhiskey all over Hermione and I want to know how you got the charm bracelet back. But other than that I'm just merry." He said in a sarcastic voice. "Well I'm sorry I bothered you." I thought back and threw the bracelet across the room but it flew back straight into the fountain. I just wanted to have a conversation with him. I run my hand through the water. One minute he wants me to wear it and feels betrayed when I don't and the next... he hates me... I had to have some fresh air. I remembered what I said to him in 3rd year. All that happened in 3rd year. I wondered how the charm bracelet got here. I thought I had it in my suitcase. I guess he didn't remember getting Oliver to give it back to me. What I said to Fred still lingered in my mind, 'You should be able to find a girl that will love you. Not break your heart. Look, we only have a few days till Christmas break and I'm going home for it. Then we have what, a month more at school and then I'm going to be gone. You deserve someone that cares for you and will stay with you Freddy. I'm not that girl...' That last sentence repeating in my head and it wouldn't go away. Now I really needed to have some fresh air. I walked out of the school and to my little spot at my tree. I sat down and hugged my knees to my chest. "Euterpe." I heard behind me but it was not the voice I was expecting. I looked behind me and saw Draco. "How do you...?" "I heard you last year... at the carriages..." He sat down beside me and I returned my head to rest on top of my knees. He put his arm around my shoulders and pulled my head to his chest. No matter how much I hated him I still couldn't forget him. I snuggled up to him and breathed in his scent. Green apples. "You smell like green apples." I told him. "I do do I?" "Yep." I replied. He kissed me on the forehead and said, "You... well you smell like jasmine." I chuckled. "I do indeed." I got out of my knees to the chest position and just lay there in his arms. I looked up into his eyes. "Thanks Draco." I said to him after we talked for a while. "You're very welcome." He replied. Then he started tickling me. "Draco!" I said while stifling bursts of laughter. I started tickling him back and then I remembered being with him... at Hogsmeade. All of my hateful thoughts of him faded away and just replaced with the thought of him... the nice ones. After we were finished I lay in his arms and we talked for a while. I laughed at his jokes and he laughed at mine. We were having... well one of the best times I'd ever had with Draco. I suddenly out of the blue, pulled him on top of me. (not in the dirty way! For any of you who were thinking that!) He kissed the corner of my mouth. "Tease." I whispered and kissed him full on the lips. He laughed against my lips. Suddenly we heard someone clear their throat. We broke away and saw...
  5. Natalie, Fleur, Sam, Julia and Ariel. They giggled. "Did we interrupt something?" Asked Julia. I blushed and when I went to look at Draco so was he. "I was just about to go to the owlery." I quickly said. "And I was just about to go to the... library!" Said Draco. My friends laughed. "Whatever you say." When we got up my friends whispered to me. "Tell us all about it later!" We were walking away and just as we were going to part ways I whispered to him. "The library?" "It was the only place I could think of!" He whispered back. I actually did have to go to the owlery so we parted ways. I walked up the stairs and could hear a faint conversation. "Sorry." I heard. I stopped just a little bit away and I could see Harry and Cho. Cho was about to walk my way when Harry said, "Hey Cho!" "Yes." She said to him as she went back up. "I just wondered if..." Suddenly I heard an owl squawk. "Ijustwanderedifmaybeyouwantedtogototheballwithme!" "Sorry, I didn't catch that." Even I didn't know what he said. I felt awkward eavesdropping. "I was just wondering if maybe you wanted to go to the ball with me..." After he said that I collapsed against the wall. Maybe that was an overreaction. I slumped against the wall. That's it! Did I really want Harry to ask me? "Oh." Suddenly she looked very uncomfortable. "Harry, I'm sorry but someone's already asked me. And well, I've, I've said I'll go with him." She said. I felt relieved but still a bit shell shocked. "Okay, great, good, fine, great, no problem." Harry muttered. He turned to head back into the owlery when Cho said, "Harry!" He turned back to her. "I really am... sorry." He looked disappointed and she looked apologetic. I climbed down the stairs as fast as I can and ended up going to the castle. I wandered through the halls... alone.
  6. People didn't pay me any heed and I wasn't worried about it. I joined my friends an hour later and told them what had happened with Draco. "Maybe he'll ask you to the ball!" Said Natalie. "I doubt it." I said. "Try not to get your hopes up _____. I heard he's going to ask Pansy Pakinson." I snorted in disgust at her name. Then I sighed. Everyone in the group had dates. Except me... "Well what about Fred." Said Fleur. They were trying to find someone that might ask me. "He's got a girlfriend." I said. "Neville?" Asked Sam. "I heard he's going with Ginny." Said Julia. "Oh." I replied. It looked like the guys were asking everyone but me. "Cedric?" Ariel asked. "He's going with Cho I heard." Said Fleur. I sighed. So that was why Cho couldn't go with Harry. "Ron?" They all said at the same time. "Maybe..." I said but then he actually walked past us. He seemed nervous but he was just walking past. Julia nudged me and then Ron screamed. "Fleur will you go to the ball with me!" Then he looked like he started hyperventilating. We just walked past him and pretended nothing happened while Hermione and Ginny came to his side. "Well that's out..." I said. "George?" "I heard he found someone to go with in potions or something. Alicia Spinnet I think her name was." "Oh..." I sighed again. Then I heard someone go past saying, "Did you hear that Jamie and Fred broke up." "Just wasn't working out I heard." "So Fred..." Said Natalie. "I remember what I forgot before!" Started Julia. "He's going with Angelena Johnson!" "Talk quieter!" I said to her. "Harry?" Asked Ariel. "Absolutely not!" I said. "Ok how about... Oliver!" "He's got Puddlemere practice." I said quietly. "Ok then... Luke." "I don't know. He's my ex boyfriend and he just got out of the hospital wing I heard..." "Then there's only one guy left..." I knew who they were talking about...
  7. I walked into the hospital wing to see Luke, but then I remembered he wasn't there. I went along anyway and found him packing up his stuff. "Hey _____." He said. "'Ey yourself." I said. "You okay?" I asked him. "I'm better now." He replied. "I better go." He said while holding up his luggage. He came to me and kissed my forehead while I blushed. He left and then after my face cooled down, so did I. I bumped into someone at the doorway. "_____?" I looked up. "Talia?" Her hair had grown longer and she looked happier but basically the same Talia. I hugged her and she hugged me back. "I thought I was never gonna see you again! Don't scare me like that!" I hugged her tighter after her exclamation. Then someone cleared their throat. Talia looked up and her face automatically brightened. It was Blaise. "_____, this is my boyfriend, Blaise. Blaise, _____." I shook his hand. He may hang out with Pansy but he was a pretty cool guy. Someone else cleared their throat as Talia and Blaise kissed. "Get a room!" Someone shouted. "Don't listen to them. You're cute togezer." The guy cleared his throat again. "Are you guys trying to ignore me?" "Of course we are." I said as I saw Draco. I looked him up and down. "That badge you are wearing is very immature." I said. "Well that's me. Immature and devilishly handsome." "And an ego that's too big for his own good." I said while batting my eyelashes. Then we both laughed. "I'll see you guys later." I said with a wave. I walked past Cedric and was about to talk to him when Harry came up to me. "Yes Harry?" I said as he strode by my side. "I was wondering if I could take you to the Yule Ball?" "Simple answer. No." "What why?" "Cause that's just that." "Snap crackle pop!" Said someone as they walked by. Then Matt came and took my arm. He spun me around. "Will you go to the Yule Ball with me?" He said while he leaned down and lightly kissed my hand. "Yes." I said and he spun me away from him. "I'll see you later." He said and I gave him an air kiss. Then I just left Harry to stand their in the corridor, shocked.
  8. I knew I was never going to return to the Ravenclaw common room again and figured that I didn't really need to clear it up with Dumbledore. I could do what I want. I stumbled into someone and they caught my arms as I was about to fall. "Sorry." I whispered as I was about to walk off. They wouldn't let go of my arms though. I looked up and into the brown eyes of Fred Weasley. "Let go." I said through gritted teeth. I didn't want to talk to him and I didn't want to start a scene. "I need to talk to you." He said while pulling me outside. I pulled against him trying to go the other way. He stopped pulling me at the tree by the black lake. I refused to look at his face since I couldn't get away. I looked at the water and saw our reflections. Mine so filled with regret and remorse but with the hint of fire in my eyes from the anger I had directed at Fred. "You heard?" He said to me. "If it's about your break up then yea. I heard all about it. It 'just wasn't working out.' You probably said something to set her off. Sounds like something you would do." "You know it was actually you're fault!" He said and then whispered under his breath. "And I hate you for that..." But I heard him. "If you hate me so much then why are you talking to me?" I started quieter with it and then got louder. "If you hate me then why did you tell me that I was perfect baggage and all. If you hate me so much then why did you want to hear my story. Why would you give me the charm bracelet?" Then I said in a quieter voice. "If you hate me so much... than why... after I gave it back... did you get Oliver to give it back to me?" I was choking up and he could see it. I felt a pressure on my lips and I couldn't help but react. But not the way I thought I would. I thought I would try and pull away. But I leaned into it. I was kissing him back. He broke away and our noses where touching. I was breathing heavily from the passionate kiss and he looked into my eyes. Then he whispered. "Because you're here yet I can't stand not being able to be with you. I hate you when you kiss other guys because it's not me. This may sound confusing, but I hate you... because I love you."
  9. Hey guys I hope you like it! I threw in a little Fred romantic scene at the end and I hope you loved reading it as much as I loved writing it! It was great to write some good material with Fred for once after not having much for a while! Are you excited about going to the Yule Ball with Matt?! ;) Hope you liked it!
