  Cyril looked at her for a moment, his eyes shifting from her to the pavement at his feet. "Uhm.." Here's thought for a moment before continuing. "I just need to talk to him about something...personal." He looked down at his shoes. "If not, it's okay." He quickly spluttered out. Every thought was racing through his mind. He took a deep breath, and looked back at Kori. It sucked to feel like the middle-man in this. In some form he did care about her, but also his father had business to take care of.

  "Oh-" Kori-Jane spoke softly, thinking for a moment. "Well, I- I'm not entirely sure if you would be able to meet with him privately or anything," she spoke, crossing her arms. "But I suppose I could try and talk to him about a meeting, yeah-"

  Cyril looked at Kori for a moment and took a deep breath. "Honestly, any help is appreciated." Cyril could feel the muscles in his throat tighten. "I really wouldn't ask," He started, trying to calm himself. "If it wasn't important." The last thing that he wanted was to be up s---'s creek without a paddle, but it seemed like he was already half-way to that point. "On another note, do you want a ride home?" He asked Kori, his tone a tad bit less charismatic. It would seem that his father had that effect on him.
