‘Okay,’ Maeve said, huffing, and snuggling closer. -
(SHUSH)
Lavender noticed her huff. "Why are you upset about that?" -
‘Because I think that you are utterly amazing and that everyone in the world is out of your league.’

Lavender blushed bright red, opening her mouth to argue, but she couldn't think of the right words. "...thanks..." She smiled sheepishly.

Maeve giggled at her blushing, and grinned triumphantly at her lack of argument. ‘Ha! I win!’ She hugged her close and pecked her nose.

Lavender was too flustered to say anything, so she grumbled and buried her face in Maeve's shoulder.

Maeve giggled, playing with her hair. ‘Are you okay, darling dearest?’ she asked, kissing the top of her head.

Lavender sunk into her shoulder. "Stoppppp!" She whined, hiding her face since she was blushing so much.

Maeve could barely talk due to how much she was laughing. She giggled against Lavender’s hair, hands raking through her locks affectionately. ‘I’m just being affectionate to my very pretty, beautiful, lovely, amazing, kind, pretty girlfriend!’

"I hate you." Lavender grumbled, leaning into her touch.
