Lavender gave up, snuggling up to her as well. "Okay."

‘Yay!’ Maeve hugged her tightly, giggling.

Lavender rolled her eyes. "You got lucky this time." She muttered, trying to sound as threatening as she could. It wasn't very threatening.

Maeve giggled. 'If you say so.'

Lavender nodded.

Maeve kissed her cheek.

Lavender leaned into her.

Maeve let her happily.

Lavender looked up at her.

Maeve smiled.

Lavender held her close. "I love you."

Maeve blushed, snuggling close. ‘I love you too,’ she said, as if afraid to admit what was very obvious.

Lavender noticed the tone in her voice, but tried to ignore it, holding her close.

Maeve buried her face in Lavender’s shoulder. ‘You’re too good for me,’ she whispered.

Lavender shook her head, pulling her closer. "Not true." She kissed the top of Maeve's head.
