“I guess we’ll have to settle for watching the service online,” Jared mumbled, chuckling softly. He exhaled softly, clinging to Liam’s shirt.

“Yeah,” Liam said with a giggle, moving a hand to gentle run through Jared’s hair. “I don’t care what happens, as long as you’re okay.”

Jared chuckled softly, leaning into Liam’s touch with a small smile. He exhaled softly, relaxing a little in his arms.

Liam giggled quietly, holding Jared close. “We’re gonna be okay- you’re gonna be okay.”

Jared smiled a little, nodding as he relaxed more in Liam’s arms. He lifted his head, watching the blonde for a moment with a smile. He pressed a short kiss on his lips, smiling. “You’re too sweet to me,” he said with a chuckle, resting his arms around his boyfriend’s waist.

Liam blushed, ducking his head a little bit. “Stop it-“ he said, giggling quietly.

“It’s true, you really are~” Jared said with a chuckle, pressing another short kiss on Liam’s lips.

“Okay, okay,” Liam said with a flustered giggle, placing the tips of his fingers over Jared’s lips. “I love you, but please stop-“

“Sorry, sorry~” Jared said with a chuckle, taking Liam’s hand in his own and twining their fingers. “I love you, too~”

Liam smiled a little, squeezing Jared’s hand. “Oh, I really do love you.”

Jared smiled happily, kissing Liam’s forehead. “God, you’re so adorable~”

“No, you are~” Jared said with a chuckle, admiring his boyfriend with a smile. He felt his phone buzz in his pocket and saw a message from his mom, reading it. He groaned softly and pocketed his phone, looking back over at Liam with an awkward chuckle. “Heyy, so- I’m gonna need a ride-“

Liam chuckled a little bit, smiling sympathetically. “Yeah, yeah, I gotcha.”

“Thank you,” Jared said quietly, kissing Liam’s jaw. He hummed softly, leaning against him again.
