Jared nodded, leaning against Liam’s side. “That’s good to hear,” Michael said, nodding as he pulled his arm back. “Well, I guess I better let y’all go-“

Liam sighed, nodding a little and looking back at his mom. “Yeah, but we’ll see you next summer!”

“Bye, Michael- Bye Jeremy,” Jared said, waving at the brunette behind his friend. “Bye you two~” He said with a warm smile, standing to his feet. Jared smiled and grabbed Liam’s hand, following him to his mom’s car.

“WAIT-“ Liam paused, rushing back to Michael and pulling him away slightly. “Wait- what happened with Jeremy?? Did you ask him?”

Michael blushed, smiling a little. “Yeah, I did- Scored myself an arcade date with him when we get back home~” He said with a smirk, glancing over at the brunette. Jeremy met his eyes and smiled bashfully, waving at him a little. Jared chuckled softly, watching them with a small smile. “Good for you, dude~”

“Awww, that’s so cute!” Liam said with a smile, glancing in between the two. “I’m so happy for you~”

“Thanks- And I’m happy for you and Jared~” Michael said, smiling. “Alright, you ready to go, Bug?” Jared asked softly, gently squeezing Liam’s hand.

“Thank you,” Liam said with a smile, nodding at Jared and walking off with him. “Bye Michael~! Have fun!”

“Byee~!” Michael said with a smile, waving as they walked off. “Bye, Michael,” Jared said with a chuckle, waving before following Liam. He hummed softly, leaning against his side as they walked.

Liam smiled, listening to the tune as they climbed into the middle row of his mom’s minivan, humming along. “So, did you boys have fun at camp?”

“Yeah, it was fun,” Jared replied as he buckled up, nodding.

“It was a lot of fun,” Liam agreed with a nod. “Did you have a good counselor?” She asked.

“Yeah, we had a new guy this year- His name’s Evan and he’s really cool,” Jared said with a smile, nodding.

“Oo, that’s nice,” She said with a smile. “Are you two buckled?”
