Jayd pat his head.

Chester snuggled close to him.

Jayden did as well. He heard a knock on his door.

Chester looked up.

"Come in." Jayd said, looking at the door. Neo walked in.
"Sir, Caden wants to see you." He looked at Chester. "Since when did you have a fox?" -
Chester purred quietly and nuzzled closer to Jayden, not wanting him to go see Caden. Maybe he could disguise himself as a cricket and hide in Jayden's shirt so he could come.

"It's just Chester." Jayden chuckled. "Do I have to see him?"
Neo gave Jayden a signature 'are you really asking that?' look that he specifically gave Jayden whenever he asked questions he already knew the answer to. "Do you really want to keep Caden waiting?" -
(Sorry for disappearing)
Chester morphed into a mouse and climbed onto Jayden’s shoulder. -
(alg!)
Jayd picked him up. "Sorry, but you know what would happen if Caden found out you were listening in." He set Chester down on his bed. "I'll make it up to you, ok?" -
Chester morphed back into a human. ‘Can I pleeeease come? He won’t know! I could be a worm in your pocket!’

"No. I don't want you hearing anything awful from Caden, or risk you getting caught! I'll tell you everything after, deal?"

Chester frowned, slumping against the headboard. ‘Fine,’ he mumbled.

Jayd kissed him. "I'll make it up to you, I promise." He murmured before standing up and walking off to the board room.

Chester sighed, cuddling his legs to his chest. ‘Okay.’

Jayden opened the door to the board room. "Caden? What's this about?"
Caden was holding a newspaper. It was a recent one, with the story about Jayden and Chester being that Jayden snapped at the reporters for 'barely any reason at all'.
