Years ago, major storms began to plague the land bringing destruction with them. And within? Monsters. demons. As these storms began to get worse and happen more often, humanity began to fall. Our numbers began to fall rapidly. We worked as fast as we could to construct underground bases. Placss that were safe from the storms atleast. But not always the demons within. In order to survive, we had to fight. It wasn't good at first. Many more were lost. But we grew stronger.
A scientist came with the decision that we may be able to get even stronger if we inject ourselves with the demon blood. It was risky. Very risky. It took many attempts, but soon, success came. Not everyone would be able to take the demon blood. Only a certain blood type accepted it. A rare new blood type that came across after the storms began. With this though, we could make it. Hopefully. Atleast, hopefully, survive anyway.
We are some of the lucky few who could take the demon blood. Made us stronger, and more able to remain on the surface. The wasteland. Our goals? Just to drive off the demons while others did their best to scavenge what we could from up top. Food. Medical supplies. Things like that.
What we didn't know, was that this was all just the start of Hell. Things would only get worse from here on out.
