Thread Topic: Sh¡tsoul
Here is where I'll be dropping lore about the Shattersoul world.
Here is also where memes, questions, conversations, comments, etc. pertaining Shattersoul can be discussed and shared.
I'll post more later though cause it's 2am lol
Before I make my character I was going to ask about being a cyborg, but I wanted to know more about that before I decide.
Yeah of course!
Cyborgs are people who have been fitted with robotic parts. A person has to be atleast 1/5 (20 percent) robotic in order to be classified as a cyborg, otherwise it's just considered a prosthetic. That's why your soul drops to 80% when you're a cyborg, or more depending on the more parts of you that are robotic
dragonsfire ExperiencedDude, I'm going to go completely Star Trek with this.
That's cool, futuristic is what we're going for anyways :D
Jade is a Borg!!!
Wait, so there's an Elra and an Era? Won't that be a little confusing?
Would it be okay if my character was a cyborg. I was thinking my character could be an experiment of sorts by the government that escaped. They could also have been programmed by the government to hack into enemy databases, thus why they are the hacjer of the group.
They are now a part of the rebellion because they were found by one of the members and were rewired by a specialist.
Tater: Yeah it might be, but I don't control whatever names people decide to give their characters lol
Mused Jade: That sounds like a great idea! Perhaps your character could've been rewired by Cassian? It'd make sense since he's the mechanic of the group, plus it'd give the characters a connected backstory
Lore Dump #1
▪Everybody in this society wears a watch of sorts, but instead of telling time it tells you what percent your soul is currently on. It can also be used as an ID card, a credit card, a watch, a phone (only voice calls people), and a music player
-Seeleblaster deals -7 soul damage per shot
-Saberseele can deal up to -10 soul damage per cut (depending on how deep the cut is) and some physical damage as well
-Electrogun shoots an electrobullet that can bruise you (not enough force to pierce skin, but the bruising is really bad) and give you a large enough shock that you're temporarily paralyzed for 10 seconds or so
-Shockwhip is a whip that hurts you like a normal whip and gives you a shock (not enough to paralyze you, but enough hits from the whip will have you drained of energy)
-Tazerlazer has a longer recharge time than an electrogun, but if you're hit even once you'll be on the floor shaking from the blast, it takes a while to recover
-Slingseeler deals -7 soul damage per arrow, and some physical damage
-Seelezuka deals -30 soul damage
-Seelestealer is a type of lazer gun that you can point at someone and it deals -10 soul damage for every second the lazer continues to touch them
-Seeleaters are machines that take a whopping -75 percent of your soul, and deals physical damage enough to break bones. One blast can make person's soul stagnant and unable to increase anymore.
The public doesn't know about the illegal weapons. On the rare occasion someone's soul becomes stagnant it's just said to be a random genetic mutation. It's like spontaneous combustion, many people don't even believe soul stagnation is real.
Elbis is supposed to explain the false reason why they’re there, right?
Yeah. Can be anything from "The van broke down and we had to get it repaired" to "Traffic was awful so we had to take the long way here"
Elbis is the leader, so leading missions and lying her way in is kinda in her job description
Roboticlus Prime SeniorI thought Cassian or Ash was the leader.
Nah. Elbis is C3, and C3 is the one who started the rebellion group and thereby the leader (says it in the first post)
The video the group is gonna be putting out on news stations everywhere is actually a video of Elbis talking, so her face is gonna be VERY well known as well. She'll be the face of the rebellion (no pressure lol) and this factor will also come into play in a future mission that I have planned out (I've planned out a few missions for the rp, they're all like side quests that'll build up and contribute to the main quest. Think TAZ)
