I wonder if this would affect future Engle))

Annie smiled and the rushing sensation returned again. This time, she was standing in her yard.

A little girl with short ginger hair was fashioning herself a daisy chain, humming to herself. She waved to her mother as the light haired lady crossed the road.

(it secretly did, which is why he had a connection with Peter and eventually does something later)
Peter looked at the scene foreignly

Ohhh. Perhaps he secretly knew Annie already and just didn't tell her so she wouldn't freak out.))

Distracted, the woman didn't see what was coming. A drunk driver came barreling down the road and hit her. Horrified, the little girl screamed and ran to her, her small hand checking for a pulse.

But there wasn't one. She cried for help as the neighbors discovered what had happened. Her father ran to her and picked her up, carrying her speedily away from the scene. She buried her face into his shoulder, crying.

(yeah, but honestly Engle is the true mod in hiding)

Engle watched the scene happen blown away with shock.

Annie had turned away, not needing to refresh her memory when it had always already been clear enough.

Later, the little girl was out in the yard again, ripping apart the daisy chain. "I can see you, you know," she said in a reproachful voice. "It's rude to stare."

"well excuse me for being shocked." Engle said.

Little Annie threw the daisy chain away. "My mom could see them too. People no one else could see. She said I have powers."

She looked up. "Do you have powers?"

"yep plenty." Peter said, whereas he may have trouble speaking with normal people, children made him comfortable somehow

"Wow," Little Annie said. "Mommy told me a while ago to never tell Daddy, because he might send me to a school with scary people."

She looked at Annie with surprise. "You must be me. Can you tell me my future?"

Annie shook her head. "I'm sorry, but it's best if you don't know."

Little Annie sighed. "I knew it. I figured I'd say something like that."

"hey, it's not all that bad, just look for the pink haired weirdo and the black haired softie boy and you'll be alright." Engle said

Little Annie nodded. "Okay, I'll do that. Where will you go when you leave?"

"to see the most evil crazy flamboyant god of the century." Engle said

"Ooh, that sound exciting. I can't wait to do that," Little Annie said, tucking a daisy behind her ear.

Annie felt the same sensation again. "By the way, you know that big shack over there? Drop by it in like, June."

Peter wondered what was in the shack.

Annie felt her feet land in solid ground. They had made it.
