I think Charlie Kirk was a bad person and deserved to be a victim of the same violence he’s shown towards others. That doesn’t mean I think his children deserved to watch their father die. That doesn’t mean I think those spectators deserve to see him die. That doesn’t mean I think the shooter was a good person. You can disagree with that but don’t hear what I didn’t f---ing say
-
This man didn’t have empathy for victims of gun violence. I have empathy for his family members. I do not have empathy for him.
“When you allow gun ownership, you’re going to have gun deaths. There is a cost to liberty.”
- Charlie Kirk.
Nobody deserves to die to gun violence. But I will not have empathy for the man himself when he has no empathy to others. He didn’t deserve it, but I don’t feel sorry for him. I feel sorry for his family members. That is all. -
There was a school shooting the same time he got murdered and we didn’t hear about that. Shows how much his party cares about us
-
I’m so f---ing tired
-
I have no empathy for him. He thought gun deaths were worth it to keep the freedom of being able to own a gun. Unfortunately he got what was coming to him. I feel horrible for the people who saw that happen, for the kids who lost their father, but I do not have empathy for him because he did not have empathy.
-
And if you don’t agree it’s so easy to just. not read this
-
He thought gun deaths were necessary to keep the 2nd amendment so I fear I can’t feel sorry for him
-
And he thought empathy was a new, stupid, made up term that did damage. He thought it was a weak notion we shouldn’t be entertaining. Are we as a society seriously crying about this man’s death and not the people around to witness it
-
To clarify. I’m not happy he died. But I have no sympathy.
-
He made his entire f---ing career about dismissing other people’s pain. I have no empathy for his pain.
-
Trigger warning !!
God, those poor people who watched it happen. I can’t stop thinking about the person he was debating in that moment. Imagine debating this horrible man then watching him get s--- right in front of you. And the fact it’s up on the internet right now, are we f---ing serious
-
It makes me wonder if people would have empathy for H*tler if he lived in the 21st century and was suddenly shot. It’s very off topic, but I wonder if people didn’t realise how truly awful the big wars were until later. Maybe in the future, the time we’re living in will be thought of as horrible in the way the Victorian times or the medieval times are thought of as horrible. Like we think the medieval times were horrible because we didn’t have as much information back then as we do now, so things that were normal back then are bizarre now, like trial by punishment and witches. I wonder what will be considered bizarre in 200 years
-
I got all my thoughts out on that and I’m NOT going into another political spiral this year so I’ll just slide on over to the other page
