i haven't even started on the people that witnessed it. thats why, again, gun violence is awful.
-
gosh darn it my other response got lost on that page
-
i bet they'll only get a reality check because the democrats did it. it's like the whole stigma about school shootings when the shooter is cis verses trans. the right freaks out about trans shootings, but in reality, it's WAY less common than cis shootings
-
i'm not going to feel empathy for a bad man who did horrible things. i am going to feel empathy for his loved ones and the people that witnessed it. i find it stupid to expect us to feel empathy for a horrible man
-
^^ oh absolutely. there will be s--- about the fact it was a democrat that did it and that democrats promote violence, etc etc. But in the long run, gun laws might actually be put in place. they can take a s--- on the left if it means they finally do something good, even if its years late
-
i guess the difference between trans shootings and cis shootings is that trans shootings happen because the victim is trans. that's what makes it a horrible hate crime. cis shootings happen for reasons other than identity. that's what makes it a horrible shooting. cis shootings are more common simply because its more common to be cis. if it was more common to be trans, trans shootings would happen for reasons other than identity.
-
just to clarify im talking about the SHOOTER being trans, it leads to a whole thing on "trans people are angry and dont care about school and dangrous menaces to society and you shouldnt let your kid be a dangerous transssss" and all that s---
-
a man who commits acts of violences deserves to be met with acts of violence. thats all. thats not saying anything about the other people there, just him. i feel empathy for them and the situation, not him.
-
OOOOHHHHH mb i thought you were talking about the victims of a shooting. i 100% agree with you there
-
When we think about shootings we have to think about WHY it happened.
This shooting happened because gun laws are not restricted (a result of the far right, which the victim is apart of), and because the victim has horrible beliefs that someone disagrees with. It’s bad that the shooter decided to shoot. It’s bad that people had to witness the shooter shoot. Its bad that someone died at the hands of a shooter. -
The situation is bad, of course. It’s horrible that it happened. For Charlie Kirk as his character, I don’t feel bad. For him as a victim, I feel bad. There’s a difference. I’m not saying any of it is okay, I’m saying that him as a character deserves it. Him as a victim does not. Nothing about the shooter, nothing about the witnesses, just him and his character
