I still can’t believe that they banned talking about periods before 6th grade. It’s just… absurd and insensitive. -

I don't think this is entirely true. You should check your facts before you believe everything the online community says. I live in Florida and it is really a great state and contrary to popular opinion, gay people are not discriminated against at least that I am aware of. And as for that law you call the Don't Say Gay law, it actually never mentions gay people. It has nothing to do with it, it really just is trying to keep kids safe by not sharing p---ographic books with kids in KINDERGARTEN. There is no reason for six year olds to know about all the nitty gritty, if you know what I mean. Some of you don't agree with me and I respect your opinions and I know I will likely get a lot of hate for this comment, but I don't think you people who don't live here and don't know what its like should act like its the worst place ever. Its actually pretty cool.

I'm going to assume you're cishet, from the way you're acting. The Don't Say Gay bill indirectly targets the LGBTQIA+ community. It may not say anything directly about our community, but it was obvious who they were targeting. They are literally passing tons of anti-LGBTQIA+ bills as we speak.
However, this thread isn't talking about that bill, so stay on the correct subject.
Also, do you have any sources that state "Florida's population is increasing"?
Another thing. I'm having trouble finding anything on the bill that bans the discussion of periods in schools. If anyone has any sources on that, please put them here. -
