They're both okay as long as they're not too physical, but not really needed. Middle is okay if it's kissing, but making out or more isn't really needed until high school.

I think elementary is WAY too young to date. As far as middle school goes, I think eighth grade is somewhat acceptable, but it's still too youn in my opinion. Of course, that's not what I thought when I was that age, after all, most people of have a sense that whatever age they're at is fine to date. Now that I look back at it, all of my worst "relationships" were at that age, and they weren't even reall relationships.

Haha my first boyfriend was when I was in 4th grade :P. And then I also had a boyfriend in 5-6th grade. So, I can't really say much.

Elementary is ok for developing crushes, but not for dating.
Middle school is ok for dating as long as youre at least 12 or 13, my best friend had 5 boyfriends last year in 6th grade...

Well, im in 8th right now and ive never had a boyfriend before. In elementary you can like someone, but i dont really think dating is nessesary. In middle school though its fine, but ive just never had one. Some of my friends have boyfriends. Haha, one of my friends had her first kiss in kindergarden under the basketball hoop.... And then theres a couple people i know that have sex and all that s---, and theyre in 8th grade. Theyre not particularly my friends. But, i think dating as in kiss/ hug/ holding hands in middle school is fine

My friend's first kiss was in a playground last spring and her boyfriend talked through it.
Then another friend had hers in kindergarten (the guy was her 'husband') but she doesn't count it because she was a little kid. :3 she didn't understand dating really. -
I had my first kiss when I was 3 or 4 xD I can't even remember who the guy was, I know cause my dad took a picture of it (screw you dad! xD) but I'm not counting it cause I can't even remember anything about him or that day
