Rose was holding my arm. I pretended I had just woken up, and groggily looked at the doctors. One of them smiled warmly, but the others had very disapproving faces. I got extremely nervous. -

I pretended to wake up slowly, my eyes blinking sleepily. I looked up at the doctors, this can't be good. I sighed, this is not going to be good -
I wanted to hide. A doctor said, "Why do you think this a good thing, Kent? She clearly shouldn't be here."
Kent, I realized, was the same doctor from earlier.
"It's a good idea! He seems to be perfectly fine with her!! Good Lord! Don't you see?"
A few of the others began to argue, causing me to feel overwhelmed.
"MEGHAN!" My dad screamed at the top of his lungs. "MUST YOU BE SO IDIOTIC?"
"No...no..Jack...It was an accident..."
I sat crying in the other room, listening to the commotion. -

I looked at Daniel, he seemed as scared as I was. I moved closer to him and whispered softly in his ear, "Don't be afriad, its me their mad at. Not you, its going to be okay"

I listened to Rose, but the argument soon got louder and more heated. They were scaring the heck out of me. I screamed at the top of my lungs, "STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT! STOP IT!" The room went so quiet that you'd be able to hear a pin drop. I sat up, and hugged my knees to my chest, rocking back and forth.

I glared at the doctors, I stood up and said without an ounce of fear in my voice, "LOOK if your going to argue I suggest you rather do that outside because right now your scaring the crap out of Daniel" I sat back down on the infront of Daniel, "Shhh...its okay, I won't let them hurt you" I said soothingly

Some of the doctors stared at Rose like she was a dirty piece of fabric. Others nodded in agreement. Those doctors left the room, and two stayed.

My arms wrapped themselves around Daniel pulling him into a hug, I ignored the two doctors. I said softly to Daniel, "I won't let anyone hurt you"

I paid 75% attention to Rose, but I had other things on the mind. 10% of the past, and 15% was to the doctors

I said softly to him, still holding him, "They might make me leave..."
