Plot: A boy has been living at a mental institute for two years,his reasons for being there is that his mother sent him to this place because after his father comitted suicide he would not say a word. To anyone because he was filled with so much depression and saddness.
A girl visits the institute to see her gran who has gone mad and claims to see hallucinations, on one of her visits she accidently meets the boy and finds his story of why he does not talk interesting(her Gran tells her this since he does not talk). So she visits him everyday, talking and talking while he sits and listens to her, occasionally smiling or nodding his head. Soon he starts saying one or two words, and then sentences!But it takes a while for him to do this but she waits patiently, he starts falling for her, and she for him. -

I sat next to my Gran at her table in her room at the institute, she held my hand tight and looked at me with bright eyes, telling me about all the "owls" that visit her, the owls aren't real, their just hallucinations but I smile and listen as if they are real, "Ooh! I saw a bright white owl today! It said something about you" she said excitedly, I chuckled and smiled at her, "Really? What did it say?" I asked curiously -

I just sat in the room with the two docters, staring down at the carpeted floor. They kept asking me questions, and telling me what they called 'positve things'. They had been going at it for 30 minutes, now, and I have yet to utter a single word. One of them put a hand on my shoulder, and said, "Daniel, gotta talk to us so we can see whats wrong?" I glared, and looked at the hand on my shoulder, and turned back to the doctor. He took it off.
"I think we're done here," He said, and the two doctors left. -
