The man seemed to think for a little while. "How are you related to him?" I froze. Uh-oh. It was time for Rose to get her thinking cap on.

"He's my..my ermm....boyfriend!" I said, it was the first thing that came to mind, I blushed. I gave Daniel a I'm-sorry-I-couldn't-think-of-anything-else-look.

"Boyfriend....? He's been here for a year and a half....and he somehow managed to get a girlfriend?" He raised an eyebrow as he spoke. I looked at Rose and gave her the I'll-talk-to-you-when-you-can-visit, look and gesture, if she understood. The man tapped his foot. "Are you telling the truth.?" he asked Rose.

"Yes I am..how can you deny me and my love for him?" I said in my most convincing voice, I gave Daniel the just-play-along-I-need-to-ask-you-something look. I looked back at the man, "Is 2 minutes too much to ask for?"

The man sighed, put down the tray of food on my drawing desk, and said, "TWO MINUTES." He then left the room, closing the door. I looked at Rose.

"Daniel...can I please just hide here, just for a while, when someone else comes in I'll hide in the closet, I'll sleep on the floor just please let me stay! I c-can't g-go back home" I said looking at him pleadingly

I hesitated. I wasn't sure what I should say. I know I got out of hand a lot. I'd probably frighten her. I gazed at her for a while. I was scared to answer. Scared to look at her. It took me 50 seconds exact to answer. I shrugged.

"Thank you!" I said hugging him tightly, "Okay, let me get into the closet...just say I jumped through the window...or something" I said stepping into the closet and closing the door behind me

I didn;t think she'd take the shrug as a yes, but she did. I got nervous. The guy walked in, and said, "Two-Where'd she..." I pointed out the door. He shrugged. "Oh well." And then he walked away, shutting my door, and locking it. I gulped.

I peaked my head through the closet door, he's gone. I got out from the closet and closed the door, I blushed, "Sorry about calling you my boyfriend...first thing I could think of" I said with a shrug

I shrugged once again, and stood. I went and grabbed the food and gave the tray to Rose, only taking the pack of carrots for myself. I never really ate much of what the place gave me, unless I was really hungry. -
I shook my head, "You eat it...you need to eat more" I said poking him, he was a bit skinny.

I looked down at my stomach. Sure, I was a bit thin, bt at least I still had muscle under that shirt of mine. I shrugged, and did as she told me, not wanting to upset her. I ate about half of it, before I gave her a glance, and gave her the rest. -

I soon ate the rest but as soon as I was done I quickly took his hand, examining his damaged knuckles, my fingers lightly brushed against his wounds, I sighed, "Don't hurt yourself...please" -

I stared at my knuckles. I didn't really think they hurt that bad. I gave her the Its-going-to-be-a-long-time-for-you look. She didn't realize how angry I got..She'd soon find out..
