One of my really close friends is a year older than me, and had an ideal attitude. She taught me how to be confident and to believe in myself. She always kept me out of harm's way and warned me against making bad decisions. Then, at around three am, I get a call from her... And she was obviously high and drunk. She was slurring her words, and I could hear the clang of bottles and laughter of what sounded like a bunch of her other friends. She was telling me how I should come there and go for a walk on the beach with them. First of all, we both live in the middle of the state. There's no beach to be found. Second, I was out of state at the time, and I still am. Just to test, I told her that I would if I had both legs. She went into hysterics, telling everyone that her friend didn't have legs and that they had to file a lawsuit to get them back from the spiders. She then started gushing to me about how the party was absolutely f---ing fantastic, dude, and you should come here now... Then she dropped a f---ing bomb that blew my respect for her to bits.

Yes. Wonderful. Just great. Awesome. As far as I know, she's still there, high as a f---ing cloud. And not a virgin. When just not a day before, she'd lectured me on how her virginity is something she'd never give up, not for anything.
