That did not just happen... No. No. She can't be... That didn't happen. It couldn't have... I shouldn't be home right now. I should be back at show choir, readying myself for the show. Those ambulances should have never been called. The paramedics should have never had to take her away. She shouldn't have gone through that. She shouldn't be there. She shouldn't be at the hospital. She should be at show choir, where the rest of us should be, readying herself for the show.

We were practicing for the show, and we all decided that we needed more stamina for the medley, given the rigorous dance moves and wordy songs. We devised a drill: jog around the auditorium as we sang along to the track to build stamina. Everyone was fine... Then it was oddly quiet. Hannah was slumped over in her chair. We all called out to her and her head lolled back and forth. She kept moaning and her eyes rolled back in her head. She kept throwing up and convulsing... I called 9-1-1. The rest of our choir was rushed to the cafeteria and kept there as the paramedics came and whatnot. She's in the hospital now, and I just received a call from the phone tree we made to spread around news of her condition. She's not doing well... She's not doing well at all.

No. The doctors have tried to find out. They just don't know. And they keep replaying in my head, those moments... If I hadn't called... My god.
But it's not minor. They said it was severe, fatal. -
D: I never really pray, but tonight I will pray. HARD.
