I tried my best to hide my excitement of going out with a boy for the first time in seven months. My gut told me he was the one who was going to break the curse, but my common sense told me not to be so stupid.

I pulled into the parking lot for the restaurant and parked the Harley.

I got of the Harley, saying a silent prayer thanking God that I was still alive.

I got relunctantly off my bike. I walked in the restaurant, holding the door open for Julia.

"Thanks," I said, walking into the resteraunt. I breathed in the smell of chai leaves and cooking oils.

I smiled at her. "You're welcome." I walked over to the waitress and she escorted us to our seats.

I sat down at our table, across from Jonathan. I picked up a menu. "What are you having?" I asked.

I looked at the menu. "Hmmm, I think I'm gonna have the chicken teriyaki. You?"

"I'm gonna have potstickers."

"Yeah, those are good," I said. I waved the waitress over. "What would you kids like to drink?"
"I'll have a rootbeer," I said then looked over at Julia. -
"Ice water, please." I told the waitress.

The waitress nodded and went to get our drinks. I looked at Julia. "Are you on a diet or something?" I asked.

"Diet? I don't diet." I hadn't forced myself not to eat something since before the curse- I found no point in it now.

"Hmmm..." I said.
