"Oh, uh, of course. Sorry." I let go of her hand and began to walk away.

I had a mental facepalm. Only five more months, and I was going to just let him walk away? "Well, maybe we could...hang out sometime?"

I turned back to her and smiled. "Sure." I got back on my bike and turned on the engine. "You wanna hang out now, or some other time?"

"Um..." I looked at my watch, mentally going through my daily schedule. I didn't really have anything else to do. "I have to take the dog back to the house, but besides that I'm good for now."

"Okay," I said. "I can wait here."

"Alright, I'll be back in a few minutes." I tugged on Gunter's leash, and he ran next to me as I sprinted back to the house. I opened the door, letting Gunter in, then yelled, "I'M GOING SOMEWHERE, KIT! (kit is the maid) I'LL BE BACK LATER!" I slammed the door shut, then ran back to the dirt road.

I waited patiently. I had never really made friends with a girl before.

I ran down the road, then when I turned the corner where the boy was waiting, went a little slower. It was the first time I had gone anywhere with a boy in seven months, and I was hoping he would be the one to break the curse. "I'm here." I said panting.

I saw her walkin towards me and I smiled and waved.

I waved back, and walked up next to him. "Where are we going?"

"I don't know, I just like riding my Harley." I looked at her. "Hop on."

"Okay..." I hesitated for a second, then got onto his motorcycle behind him.

I revved the engine and a mischievous grin appeared on my face. "Hold on tight," I said, before taking off.
