I looked over to the house. "C'mon." I started jogging towards the house.

I followed her.

We reached the house ten minutes later. I walked towards the house cautiously.

I carefully walked after her.

I opened the front door slowly. Almost everyone was collapsed on the ground. I walked over to the nearest person and felt under their neck for a pulse. I got up and backed away quickly. "He's dead," I whispered.

"Oh god"

"What about the others?" I waved my hand at the whole room.

"Most likely the same"

I turned away and put my head in my hands. Tears started flowing out of my eyes.

I walked up to her then put a hand on her shoulder "It's alright everything is going to be okay" I had no idea what I was saying.

I looked back at him. "No it's not. A weird light just fell out of the sky and exploded and killed more than eighty kids. Who knows what's going to happen next?" I kept crying.

I hugged her "That did happen but things will be okay"

"How can you tell?" I cried on his shoulder.

"I can't I'm just guessing"
