I buried my face deeper into his chest. "Is it over yet?"

I was still holding her "yes"

I looked over at where the light hit. It was pretty close to the house the party was in.

Still holding her I asked "You think it hit the party?"

Tears came to my eyes. "I hope not." I buried my face in his chest again.

I pat her back "I'm sure it didn't"

"You think we should go check?"

"Yeah"

"Okay." I wiped my tears away with the heel of my hand.

"Yeah"

I got up and brushed myself off. I pulled him up too.

"You alright?" I asked

"Yeah, I guess. You?"
