I scooted closer and wrapped my arms around his neck.

I kissed him. His lips felt so soft and safe.

I pressed my body against his, just wanting the assurance that he was there.

I smiled and laid my head on his chest. "I love you so much, baby."

I fell asleep slowly, taking in his warmth and good smell.

I watcher fall asleep then passed out a few minutes after

I slept safely in his arms. I dreamt of what life was like before the light. But it was more of a nightmare, because I didn't know Mark.

I woke up with Marks arms around me. I smiled and kissed the underside of his jaw.
