I was ready for anything

I watched the window and slowly notched another arrow.

I stood there waiting

I saw a hand grip the edge of the window. I took a deep breath, preparing myself.

It slowly pulled itself up. It was hideous and disgusting and I gagged at the smell that washed over me.

I ran at it and cut it's head off then quickly went back to her

I put a hand on his arm. "There's one more left," I whispered.

A head popped up over the window. I released my arrow and hit it in the head. I shot it again and it fell down to the ground.

"Nice shot"

I was too shaken up to say anything. I could feel the shock taking over. I had just realized who the last thing was. I dropped my bow and my quiver slid to the ground. I collapsed.

I turned quickley got to my knees then picked her up and put her on the mat "You're going to be okay" I ripped a piece of my shirt off got it wet with my water and put it on her foorhead "You willbe just fine"

I mumbled incoherently. My eyes crossed then rolled back in my head and I passed out.
