how the frick frock did this not end up in the music thread yet
-
joy, yeri and wendy have all left sm
which is completely understandable, but i'm not ready to accept that this might be the beginning of the end -
well, they had a good 11 years. that's a lot more than what some pop groups can ask for. i cant complain even if they were to disband today. but i fear that 3/5 members leaving the home company means even less group comebacks, and that they'll slowly fizzle out like girls generation did
-
and f(x) did too. it seems they're putting their focus on aespa and hearts2hearts which is again understandable but disheartening as a long-time reveluv
-
it's been hard to find a band to stan ever since red velvet and bts. ever since learning about the truth behind what makes a group and that their personalities might not even be real, it's hard to view upcoming groups the same way. also half of the ones debuting have minors and that's blech. i'm freaking 23 years old
-
i want to support a group with all adults. i was ready to do that for kiss of life until they had that one racist livestream :///
-
are you kidding me tho? 14 years old is a child idc. sorry to those who are 14 but you're a kid lol. there are so many groups debuting with a 14 year old and it's ridiculous. how do you expect them to handle fame with grace? i hate seeing survival shows or trainees up for debut and i see some s--- like "birth year 2010" are you FR. please go learn the Pythagoriam theorem
-
and considering a k-pop training program often lasts from 1-5 years or even more, you begin to wonder how young these kids began their training. jihyo from twice was scouted and trained at 10 years old. it's just... Mind boggling to me
-
like, the music is good but obviously i'm not gonna feel comfy being a diehard fan of teenagers that's so freaking gross and embarrassing what? i wish the stigma around k-pop idols careers ending at 30 just vanishes, that's my rant bye
-
14 is definitely too young to be a kpop star wtf
-
Yeah I agree I would literally hate that like I'd rather stay invisible at school
