i'm kinda used to the feeling at this point, i remember when i first started this job my feet were blistered and bleeding from wearing the metatarsal boots for the first time omg that was awful. but now when i take off my work boots and throw on some normal sneakers, my shoes feel... idk. naked? feather light?

well it's tough in some ways, easy in others. i wouldn't say it's necessarily back-breaking heavy physical labor, but it is manual, and i do have to do it for 12 hours at a time. also the overtime sucks. but my job in the factory specifically requires more pattern recognition and organization than pure muscle, which i find myself to be really good at

i have to wear metatarsal boots because i work with untempered glass, which shatters extremely easily and can cut your feet/skin up real good if you're not wearing proper PPE

and fiber sleeves, eye shields, and super thick gloves. i feel like i'm shedding a skin when i get off work

Ouch I was at a factory too before and I remember my first time standing for the whole 10 hours and I literally waddled around because of the pain in my feet. “Something better” is a good question 🤔

wuwa is OK, not terribly noticeable
genshin's climbing and stair physics are dog s--- -
zzz has the best stair and environment physics but the ahem.. Other physics are just way too much for me to take seriously

anyway it's back to work again tomorrow and then the next day at least so i best get some rest
