Because you have no ambition or talent. And that all of a sudden a reality shock happens and it tells me to just quit because my artist dreams are just a phase.

Honestly, that's how I feel. I like to draw a lot and my parents are always like 'omg bby ur art is so good'. It is until I see art that is SO MUCH BETTER than my piece of s--- drawings that looked like they came out a 5 year olds' ass.

Your a better artist than the majority of people around here. Sure, its not something i like, but none of it is bad. (except maybe one or two, but every artist has their 'Ehhh...' drawings.) I just keep my opinions to myself a lot of the time when i see what i'd call a bad drawing. -

No, Im implying that I keep my personal opinions to myself if I feel like it. Movie critics dont make movies, but they review movies and critique them around the standards they've set up for themselves. So if I see a drawing, I have the right to determine if its good or bad in my own personal opinion.

You'll necer improve if you stop trying, right? Anyone can become a great artist...you just have to try and practice hard enough. I may sound like a hypocrite, but it's true. The only phase here is this phase of hopelessness. You can do it.

Also, Absol, you should voice your opinion when you see a "bad" drawing so that the person can improve. Just don't be a dick about it. ^-^

In your own personal opinion, yeah, it is bad. But of course you think that. Hell, I think that too when I see my own personal art. I theorize that the mind is, by default, set to make you think that way so that you strive to improve your art. Of course, this is only a theory. A ART Theory! Thanks for reading!

You're still so young. You have so much room and time to improve. I really think you can do it. But you have to believe in yourself, too. We can improve together. ^-^
