you have control in lucid dreaming-ghetto

I've had a few lucid dreams, and I can only remember three.
I died in one, and I felt myself falling.
I was being bitten by a bunch of snakes in another, and I could feel the snakes bitting my hands.
In another, I met One Direction, and I could feel them hugging me. I could feel the joy fill my heart.
You don't really learn. It just happens. -

Ughh, so it affects you in real life then?
Sorry. I have many questions. I really wanna do it. -
Guys, lucid dreaming is when you know you're dreaming.
Also, when I lucid dream, for some reason I tell the people around me that what's going on isn't real XD -
No, a lucid dream can be a dream or a nightmare. The only difference between a lucid dream and a regular dream/nightmare, is that you have control in the lucid dream. But it's terrifying to lucid dream while having a nightmare, because it feels so real.
-
I always ask myself when I'm awake, that if I can actually tell myself I'm awake? Do you have control over your dream, when lucid dreaming? Does it affect you in real life? Is it good or bad to lucd dream? Can I die from it?

It really is terrifying when you're having a nightmare that was lucid. Ghetto's right, and it's happened countless times. I usually wake up sweating, and my heart will be racing. I'll occasionally scream or cry, and I can't control it. It just happens.

It sounds scary.

if you think he gonna get you
HE'S GONNA GET YOU -
Ghetto, We're both right. It's a vivid dream that you are very aware of having, and that you can control.

What are you talking about? @Dawson

Actually, I'm not sure if you can die from it. Might be possible, because once I had a lucid dream and when I woke up, I was sweating and I couldn't breathe. I was about to pass out when I finally managed to catch my breathe.
lel I keep rambling so I'll answer your questions
1.) In a lucid dream, you actually know that you're in a dream, so you basically can tell what's part of the dream and what isn't.
2.) Yes, you can do anything you want when you lucid dream.
3.) Sometimes lucid dreams can actually affect you, like the example I provided above.
4.) Lucid dreams can be both good or bad. It just depends on how YOU think of it.
