why did it keep redirecting me to some weird place until kind of now?

Because of a virus.

uhh is that true? it was doing it both on my iphone and mac, and iphones aren't really the same as computers

yeah, I got it on my phone and am about to get it on my laptop but you can go here
and it should reassign you an ip somewhere else so the virus can't attack you. -
It's a virus with the site itself.

Some softwares protect against viruses, but others do not. It all depends on the type of software you use.

I use firefox, and does the virus do anything else other then redirect?

Usually, unnecessary pop-up adverts are the results of computer viruses. They slow the server down.

I have no idea, honestly.
I don't know if it does anything other than redirect, but if you actually lick on any of it I'm sure it will. Just exit out as soon as you can. -
yes I did but I got to the weird add thing more then once while trying to get back to the real gtq which wasm't working
