Now, again. You've hopefully read the little story I prepared for you at the top of page 2. Let me put you through a second.
You're a teenager, older than most of the '14-'15 users that have joined the site. You've been here for a long time, at least, more than two years. The people here hounded you as a new user, calling out your actions. However, although you hated them for it, you're positive it was for a better future. You know how to use proper grammar, you know how to act, you go by the majority of the rules, and you're made good friends.
Now, however, there new users that are just like past you. Immature, horrible grammar and punctuation, defiant in nature. This time, though, they're far younger and tend to mistake your harsh but true words as an attack. They like complaining about you to their friends, or even making threads that you know are just them trying to get attention. Absolute, terrifying forum scrubs. You aren't bothered- a friend or two of yours does the same- but you know that if you don't say something, they'll most certainly try again. Silly newbs.
So, you have two options. Both involve engaging contact with the user. The first option is to hound them, put them through the rigorous training of maturing through a slightly harsh matter. The second is to be the "good cop" and attempt to talk to them to get them to understand that what they are doing is wrong but is still completely their choice. Either option will help them, of course. It depends on you to decide. How will you help the newb?

As you can see, Zane is hounding you. Not to upset you and laugh at how easily you get mad (which I'm positive you do that often), but to get you to toughen up and realize your actions. Attention whore isn't just an insult. It's the truth. You are acting like one. And we're trying to get you to understand that you need to stop. If you won't stop, try thinking about his words. You now understand that we don't like dealing with actions like this, as I displayed in the story above. You must not like seeing your friends do it either. So why not try thinking how the "older users that act like they're above you" feel? We've been here for years. We've fixed our mistakes. You aren't. There's no other option for some other than to hound you. -
