I don't think he does.
-
I tried to tell him what he's planning is the wrong choice but he just shrugged and said, "Grow up." Grow up? I'm older than him anyways, and just because I'm not the one who knocked up a girl dosen't make me less than him.
-
You have no hand in their decision because it's not about you, it's about them. I think they should keep it because they should've known that this could have happened if they had sex, but giving it up for adoption is better than them aborting it. They probably don't have enough money to provide for it, and you probably don't either, so you most likely can't adopt it. But it all comes down to what they decide to do, not what you decide for them.

I don't care if I have to dig through the trash to feed the poor thing. Jake has at least some pocket cash, seeing as we share a large apartment. I know that taking care of a child is expensive, but I will do anything for them not to give it up for adoption. It may not be my decision, but I can't just stand there and let them do this. I would have killed for someone to convince my parents to keep me, do something besides giving up all hope.

He needs to grow up, I mean, he's planning to get rid of a baby when it's his fault and his problem, but he's old enough to understand that getting rid of a baby is wrong, but I guess not.
-
I don't think he's mature enough to be a father. Hell, I'm not mature enough to be a father.
-
Well, putting it up for adoption would actually be best. It's better than the baby having to live with parents that don't even love it.
-
Going through adoption isn't like hell for some people. Babies have higher chances at getting adopted, and that child most likely will get adopted. I had a few friends that were adopted and they grew up in loving families and are really happy. That child will probably not have a very good life if it stays with you guys because you are all teenagers, and it's going to be really difficult for you because you have to pay for their school and get extra food and at the same time you're going to have to go to a job and pay for rent. You won't have any free time. It's better to give it up for adoption so it has a chance at having a loving family that can provide for all of its wants and needs without having to worry about money.
-
Or can't take care of it.
-
I know, but I can't stand the thought of sending the poor child away..
That makes sense, and I want the best life for the child. It's just that I don't want to have to live with knowing I left my best friend get rid of his child and sent it off somewhere. -
It's not your fault if they get rid of it, it's theirs. Sometimes people can't make other people change their minds. It's their decision.

Rain: Why?

The less people, the better.

I know it's not but I will still feel like s---.

You shouldn't, they should.
