  I'm pretty sure I did the math right. She was close but I think -24 is the answer. I can try to ask my math teacher before you go to school, but no guarantees because I need to finish an essay in the morning.

  28/30t - 21/30 = 27/30 + t
  
  t is = 30/30t
  
  28/30t - 21/30 = 27/30 + 30/30t
  -28/30t
  -21/30 = 27/30 + 2/30t
  -27/30
  -48/30 = 2/30
  
  I cross multiplied.
  -48 x 30 = -1440
  2 x 30 = 60
  
  -1440/60 = -24
  
  t = -24

  Probably. I couldn't find a way to get -21. Your teacher needs to step her game up.
