  Most of the people who do it are missing the point. The point isn't to just dump water on your head. It's to get your body to feel numb. The coolness of the ice and water will freeze your body, and for a minute or so, you should feel the cold pain and horror of being numb. That's a part of ALS- being numb for the rest of your life.

  Ha ha I did it, my dad got four seven gallon buckets and rigged them to tip at the same time, and then filled them with ice water XD
